Some goodies I worked on today! I will be listing these tomorrow. Also I have gotten a lot of request for free jewelry for photos, I'm sorry everyone but this isn't something I do. If you want to trade goods sometime that's cool ( I am always down for a juicy trade if the pocket book permits it!) but I can't afford to give stuff away cause this is my only income. Sorry to disappoint and no hard feelings. I hope everyone had a good Monday!
Fire. My beloved element. For cours I can sit there and watch it. Not noticing how time flies by. Mesmerizing. Deliberate. Fascinating. Passionate. Warm. Heats up and lights up.
To be enjoyed with caution and care.
That's kind of me...
Some progress shots of my Forest Goddess oil painting. Phone camera is atrocious, but it captures some of the detail. I'm pleased with her progress so far. Which is a first for me. I think I may even keep her for my living room. I will be selling prints for those of you whom have messaged me.
Monday is Moon's day, ideal for intentions focused on fertility, healing, compassion, psychic work, spiritual work, women's issues and marriage.
Tonight's waxing moon in Sagittarius adds an element of adventure and freedom to workings. ♐
haven’t posted here in a while, but i wanted to share with you how i found out that diana is my goddess. soi found in one of my wicca books that each person had a god or a goddess that wants to work with them, and a way to find this out was to ask the gods and goddesses to let me know who was wanting to work with me moments before i go to bed and it’ll be answered in the dream. my dream consisted of me and my friends in some white marble cathedral, obviously decorated for a god or goddess and was located somewhere in europe. we were going to throw a party, and i was overlooking the list of invited guests and the names were blurred except for the first letter of each name. the names kinda went upwards, kinda like the end credits of a movie. but they were random letters going down, except in the middle the letters spelled D-I-A-N-A. i woke up immediately and felt this weird feeling in my chest. i didn’t know that there was a goddess that had the name Diana, but i wrote it down in the journal next to me and researched her. as it turns out, she’s the Roman goddess of wild animals and the hunt. her Greek correspondant is Artemis and she’s associated with the moon and fertility. to this day, i still wonder why she chose me. i thought maybe it was because i used to hunt animals, but now the thought of killing an animal seems wrong. i wonder what she has planned for me. •
I came across this book thanks to a friend who actually pointed it out. It’s incredibly bright cover would never have attracted me to picking it up in my own, & I’m so thankful for my friend who was there, because this is an amazing tarot tool!
I picked up the second edition although I’ve never read the first, & Mary Greer notes that she put more history, reference & correspondences in than the first edition as per her own learnings.
A lot of tarot “how to” books are quite strict about never reading for yourself because of how subjective you can be with your own reading, & that tarot is all about reading for others.
This isn’t just a book that turns that rule on its head, but it’s almost like a textbook for tarot readers, & the whole goal is to acquaint you the tarot & with different tarot spreads all through the experience of reading for yourself.
You have your basic information about the suits, Major Arcana & Minor Arcana archetypes, but it goes beyond that. The book outlines different cultures variations on the tarot deck & how they connect with the divine energy. It has separate chapters on multiple spreads, including a detailed chapter only on the Celtic Cross which I’m ecstatic to get to because the Celtic Cross is a great tarot tool but it’s a spread I struggle with reading for anyone. There are mandalas & charts & how to find your Spirit, Personality & Hidden Factor cards, rituals & exercises.
If you’re a tarot master it’s a great refresher, but if you’re a tarot beginner, it’s a book I highly recommend procuring. I wish I had it when I first started reading!

BOOKS FOR BEGINNERS AND A TAG GAME! #babywitchbookclub
So I've been chatting to my witch buddies as well as getting all your questions! A lot of you ask for books for beginners, so I thought we should do that BUT with a twist. I'm going to post my top books and then tag some of my witch pals to challenge them to share their top beginner books too. We will be doing it under the affectionately named hashtag #babywitchbookclub (so you can find it whenever) thanks to the lyrical genius of @magickmusings . Also I'll be adding the book posts to my highlights for you! So onto my books!
Wicca A Guide For The Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham - I'm not Wiccan myself but this was one of the first books I bought. This has so much fundamental knowledge on the craft and is one of the books referenced in quite a few more modern books. It's a worldwide best seller and honestly I think it should be part of everyone's learning whether you intend to follow Wicca or not.
Witchcraft for Tomorrow by Doreen Valiente - A timeless classic with the mother of modern witchcraft. It's a tricky book to follow at points but purely from the basis of getting to grips with the history of modern witchcraft and also her incredible book of shadows in the back then this is a must.
True Magick by Amber K - Incredible. Simple, beautiful yet comprehensive on the foundations of magick. If you only get one book from this selection, this is a must. It's also the most affordable of them all!
The Green Witch by Arin Murphy-Hiscock - This is a newer book I've reviewed but is a no pressure, no set rules approach to the craft and practicing with nature and the elements. This is a beautiful guide to green witchcraft and is a popular path for most!
Now I'm going to tag @amethystwitchx @thxvvxtchx and @magickmusings and challenge them to share their top beginner book(s). Enjoy!
🕸👁🕸How long have you been a witch 🧙🏼♀️? While I’ve found myself intrinsically drawn to the both the natural and ethereal worlds since prior to the whispers of my earliest memory, I recently came across a ritual, a magickal moment in time captured when I was just 12 years of age.✨
🗝I won’t share what exactly transpired here because to be perfectly honest this flavor of spell work exists far from something I’d feel comfortable doing (or recommending) now...But the fearless, unbridled nature that only adolescence imbues ignited a fire within me that burned on the edges of darkness and desperation. I found myself before this humble backyard altar during a 💔heartbreaking💔 custody battle and felt I had to do whatever necessary to turn the tides in my perceived favor. While I will say the desired outcome was reached, in hindsight I can’t say it was what was best. The unpredictable nature of the black magick practiced here leaves me considering the unintended peripheral consequences of the act to this day. ✨
🔮This is the last time I engaged in what I could consider ‘dark’ magick with intention, as I much prefer working solitarily in matters of light. When I gaze upon this photograph, however, I can’t help but feel a smile upon my lips because magick has resided deep within my bones for so long. I’m so happy to find myself on this path once more.💜
🔥Have you worked in the darkness in times of panic or desperation and if so do you have any regrets/deleterious outcomes/cautionary tales? ⚡️
Moon's Day Blog #2
Artemis was the Greek goddess of the hunt, the moon, the patron of young girls, and twin to Apollo. She had a temple dedicated to her at Ephesus, in Greece.
She was the daughter of Zeus and Hera, and was a virgin goddess. She was a part of the triad of goddesses who made up the triple moon, the others being Selene and Hecate. Her most important symbols were the bow and arrow, torch, deer, and her hunting dogs. what is amethyst all about? •
amethyst is a great starter stone if you’re looking into collecting crystals. i feel like most people start off with amethyst or rose quartz. (which i will teach about later..) •
amethyst was the first stone i ever received and i was instantly drawn to the deep purple color of my cluster & decided to do research on the stone and found out it had a lot of fantastic healing properties. •
amethyst is a great stone to carry around if you have anxiety or stress. it gets rid of those negative energies around you in your day to day life while attracting positive energy. •
amethyst is great for your third eye chakra because it can enhance your psychic abilities. amethyst is a great stone to meditate with. •
sometimes i place a amethyst on my forehead when I’m lying down flat on my back when I have a headache and just close my eyes and relax and take nice deep breaths in and out. amethyst is a great stone for relieving pain. (now that doesn’t mean to stop going to the doctor.. i am just explaining what i do when i have a slight headache. somethings are things that need medical attention!) •
overall amethyst is a great stone! i am always drawn to some nice amethyst. the vibe amethyst gives off is just so so nice :)
