Amazing meal at the Dobyns Dining Room at the @college_of_the_ozarks! Started off with fried green tomatoes coated in crunchy cornmeal. I had the Breaded Trout with jambalaya and grits. Brad had the Mignon Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. Satisfyingly ended with Peach Raspberry Bread Pudding and a scoop of their homemade vanilla ice cream. So good, so full!
Also learned that the school is all about putting students to work so that they graduate debt free. Everyone from the hostesses to the waiters to the cooks are students - they were all very friendly and professional. Glad we were able to experience this gem in the Ozarks.
