I slept hard last night. So hard, I slept through my alarm and am now hours behind in my day. My kid slept too, so now she will be up hours late tonight.
But I threw all that aside, grabbed my cup of joe and my journal and jumped on a team call with the one and only @msrachelhollis and my passion was once again fired up ! 🔥
It doesn't matter that I haven't dressed or showered or started my day like a boss, I am the CEO of my life. I am starting my day with self rest and self care and I am going to crush my day because today I choose to be the best version of me and a better version than yesterday! 🌱

Yup..this girl over slept 🛏, missed my workout/run.😬😫
Sometimes I think it’s gods way of telling me you needed that extra sleep, you needed to give your body a break.
I am someone who struggles when things don’t go my way 🤷🏼♀️ so I am just going to try my best to embrace this day, and hopefully get my workout in later today in-between the craziness of back to school, practices and meetings. #overslept#missedworkout#tuesdayvibes
Happy Monday all!! This weekend was fun but off track as far as eating. Between a concert Friday and family party yesterday, I did not follow my plan.
Today is a new week and fresh start. Getting started right by sitting on the back porch watching the rain with my shake & coffee.
The gym will have to wait until lunchtime due to sleeping in a bit (was not a restful night). But my workout WILL get completed.
Is everyone else off to a good start this week???
The insta reality... of the return from your holidays... firstly one angry cat for leaving him bereft of attention for 8 days and thus sulking and off his food... the children then consider that helping to unload the car is their total contribution to their holiday and all the unpacking and putting away and washing is solely my responsibility... like a pro I had the first load in within 10mins of getting home and I’m totally on it this morning before the forecast rain hits us.... (check out those clouds above ☝️☝️)
Oh and is if that wasn’t enough to contend with... I was awake at 4am... fell back to sleep until 9.20am and like a scene from Home Alone when they oversleep and are about to miss their flight... that was me rushing to shove any clothes on, brush teeth and hair and drive at Mac1 to my Dr’s appointment... how thoughtful I was to myself booking in an over 40’s health check and smear test 😩 at 9.30am the morning after getting back from hols (and 7hrs driving)... anyway I made it and was delighted to be told I have a 1% chance of having a stroke or a heart attack in the next 10years....I thought but yeah this test doesn’t factor my actual life... the kids, lack of sleep or ex husbands... the reality is that % would be pushing the 90’s!
Having survived the Dr’s my little darlings were exactly where I left them... the daughter still in bed, middle child watching The Inbetweeners 🤦♀️ and youngest playing Fortnite.....
So I’m just going to chill for 10 and drink my first cuppa of the day... it’s 10.45am

Rad been a tough few days.
Trying to find time to work the coaching business, eat, sleep, go to my current day job, and be with the husband. With him soon leaving to a different shift I chose to be with him yesterday.
Today, I’m heading in to work overtime (cause your girl has bills) which it’s the last place I want to be.
This needs to be one of my motivators ✊🏼

Ever woke up and dismissed that alarm without even knowing it.. 🤷♀️ That my friends was ME this morning! 🙋♀️ Normally to be on time for work I have to leave at 8:00am to be there at 8:30am and guess when I got up... 8:03am! 🙃🙃🙃
Needless to say I just woke up, got dressed, brushed my teeth, only parted my hair, threw my lunch in my lunchbox (thank you jesus I meal prep 🙏) and practically ran out the door.. 🏃♀️
I am SO SO thankful to have a program that is only 4 days a week and that I meal prep healthy lunches because it was EXTREMELY handy this morning! And I didn't have to feel guilty for not working out because today was a rest day! 🙌💖
