I have always taken life a little but too seriously. But looking back on my week in Switzerland there were more moments like this one, running around the streets of one of the most beautiful places in the world, laughing my face off with @kelsealoha than worrying and stressing about nothing that will not matter in five years, five days, even five minutes. We spent a week singing the same four songs on repeat at the top of our lungs with the moon roof open as we drove winding alpine roads and living off of cappuccinos and any and every type of cheese would could get our hands on.
My blog post (itinerary and cheese suggestions included) for my week with @myswitzerland and @hertzeurope is finally live. Check out my story today or the link in my bio.
I’m so glad I went to The Scoop that one night, cause now I get to say happy happy happiest of birthdays to the most fantastic partner in adventuring, living, and nap taking I could have ever imagined.
And that’s why we bought a Subaru.
Flashback to one of this summer’s location scouts. One of the highlights of this place was seeing all of those bright red paintbrushes dotting the meadow. They were some of the loveliest we’ve seen. 😍♥️😘 #natureheals#allmyfriendsarewild

@Regran_ed from @chillyourpanties - I've been in full backpacking season! 4 trips in a month! So needless to say the yellow backpack is taking a vacation and I've exchanged it for the turtle life! 🎒🐢 I have met some wonderful people and have some amazing stories to tell during these multi day trips in the wilderness with only the belongings I can fit in my pack. For starters, I met this older women who had just lost her father at the age of 92. She just came out to the mountains because that was where he loved to be. It made her feel closer to him in a way. 😢 She was an accomplished hiker herself. Her husband who had also passed did the JMT in record time back in the 70s! ✌🏼 Nothing with him but some iodine tablets and completed it in 5 days! She was so happy seeing me out there doing my thing. I told her I was just trying to see beautiful things and find my stride in the mountains. She asked me how I got started in all of this. I told her that I wanted to do the JMT one day but wasn't sure I could. Well the wise women she was she told me that I just have to go and push through it and that it is possible! Well I'm still not sure but as brief as our interaction was, well that would be awesome if I could!🤞🏼 Don't be afraid to talk to the older and wiser people on the trail. They have some amazing stories, done some hikes that we can only dream of, before permits, before social media and you can find inspiration from the unlikely of strangers! 🙃
Have you ever had one of those amazing and inspiring random conversations with a fellow hiker? Maybe you are one of those inspiring people!? 😲
I woke up at 3am to hike up a volcano to see the sunrise. Thinking I would never need to bring warm clothes to Indonesia, I didn’t have any for that chilly morning. Luckily I had extra socks that worked almost as well as gloves.
Sometimes life is trying really hard to slow you down, to make you stop and appreciate a single moment. Last night was definitely one of those times. 🌅❤️
I was on my way to the city with my friend and the sunset just kept getting better. We could have kept driving and appreciated it from the inside of the car as we drove, since we were trying to get to our show on time. But moments like this are meant to be appreciated, filling your lungs with the fresh ocean air, really feeling the glow of the colours paint your skin as they continually change and acknowledge the fading beauty knowing that for just a few minutes you were part of it.
There is no filter on this picture, no post-processing and it was taken with my iPhone. 👌
Closer and closer to the summit. With one of our incredible guides, Alex, leading the way. 📸: @antal.halasz.31
We had an incredible team from @thomsonsafaris guiding us. The guides set the pace, keep an eye on you (they are trained in first aid), provide plenty of support and encouragement - especially on Summit Day - and tell you how to prep, clothing and gear-wise, for each day.
But in addition to that, our team also happened to be a group of truly wonderful people we quickly became friends with. Thanks to Edward, Alex, George, and Gama for getting us to the top, and making our journey unforgettable. #kilimanjaro#mountain#hiking#tanzania#outdoorwomen#hikingadventures
This summer was full of exploration adventures in Hawaii, Japan, Utah, Arizona and Colorado! For all adventures I bring some sort of @lifestraw product because there is nothing worse than running out of water! On longer hikes with lakes or rivers I only bring an empty bottle knowing that I can fill up often- so was the case with this hike in RMNP! Counting down the days until the next adventure- it’s only a couple weeks away and includes my oldest closest friends!! ❤️
The after and the before ... big upgrades both bag and bike (thanks Mom, thanks Dave). A velvet pile with earthy ombré color waves in variegated width striping makes up a damask Designers Guild textile in this Bike Traveler yoga mat bag. Just one available, now in our shop.

Tested on V3 trail (21 days) and Full C-Curve (11 days) with unpredictable weather (some days were freaking hot and some other days were so freaking cold, heavy downpour, strong wind), muddy, rocky, narrow trail full with torn plants. .
Monmaria Vagabond Women Shirt (XS) .
Material : 100% Nylon
Features : Quick dry, yoke opening for extra ventilation (at the back), zipper pocket on left side, long sleeve with snaps to make short sleeve. Comes in two colors; dark blue & pink. .
Baju ni sumpah la function terok. Trek dari Surian ke Kuar antara yang paling hardcore gila. Pokok duri, resam, buluh eh apa je you name it. Semua yang nakal-nakal tu semua ada. .
Tapi baju @mymonmaria ni steady beb. Ketahanan kain dia tu sampai tersangkut duri, rentap, tak tercarik pun. Koyak apatah lagi. Aku dah sampai satu tahap dah malas nak berbudi bahasa dengan duri tu, memang keje nak rentap je. Mudah, asal lepas. Hahaha. .
Dan baju ni ringan, cepat kering. Potongan baju pun agak labuh, tutup bahagian belakang. So, sister-sister tak perlu risau. This shirt is recommended by Izza for Malaysian trail 👍🏼 Gittew, suka-suka hati aku je 😂 .
Cruising into the weekend in my Forester like... This weekend's adventure starts with an overnight in an old miner's cabin followed by another fun exploration of the Mojave Preserve. Then it's off to Hungry Valley OHV park to camp with a TON of Subaru enthusiasts. In the morning we will have what I suspect will be the largest ever caravan of @subaru_usa vehicles down to Santa Anita Park in Arcadia for @SubieFest. Watch my stories up above ☝🏽to join in on the adventure. Or better yet, stop by and say hi. 👋🏽

Trying to take my own advice lately. I wrote an article. Its finished! Will you read it?!? 🖤
•Im still in the middle of figuring out where in the heck im off to next. If we previously talked about plans, lets figure them out soon. The weather here freezing now. The mornings are harsh but the sunny days are perfect. Im still just blissfully happy to be here. 🍂
