mobilità articolare, fluidità nella colonna vertebrale, allungamento muscolare, rilassamento, sospensione della pressione dei pensieri, alleviamento dello stress.

The single-leg stance (SLS) test, also known as the single-limb stance test, unipedal stance test or one-legged stance / balance test, is often used in the geriatric population to assess static postural and balance control. 
The test can provide valuable information regarding increased risk of falling in the elderly. However, I contend it should be included as a standardized test in every patient assessment, regardless of age.
Why? Because 40 percent of human gait movement occurs on one leg – single-leg stance. Every time we take a flight of stairs, we are in single-leg stance.

High Intensity Interval Training is when you have an intense work interval (~20-30secs) followed by a rest period (~60-120secs). It is an incredibly efficient and effective way to train! To reap the full benefits you have to really go all out and give it 100% effort on the work interval. 🏋🏻‍♀️🏋🏼‍♂️🏊🏽‍♂️

There aren't that many exercises that can bring you to exhaustion in under 30 secs like these rope slams. •

I do 20-25 rope slams, followed by a 90 second rest period. I repeat 5-10 rounds, making the entire workout only 10-20 minutes! This short session provides countless health benefits!! •

High intensity interval training has been shown to balance hormones, burn fat, and build muscle. 💪🏽
