Spent the last 3 weeks living in Rio De Janeiro with this beautiful beast, Logan. Spending most of my time accompanied by him, I have fallen in love with this giant bear. He turned up at my friends mothers workplace and was abandoned and in terrible condition. We took him in and given him the care and love he needed, and now won’t leave my side. Thank you Logan, for being such a loving soul. Despite your drooling and ridiculous snoring, you are so special. 🐻♥️🐶🌏
7 months exploring South America and it’s been one magical and fascinating journey. I have just booked a flight back to the UK for a short holiday of love, comfort, familiarity, friends, family and festive fun over Christmas. I am beyond excited to be back with loved ones and relax and enjoy the people and place and all things I know. Leaving again in January to continue my travels around the world. 🌏
Despite wanting to go to almost every single part of the world, I never expected to end up in the Caribbean islands. A last minute decision to catch a flight to paradise! Unbelievable dreamy days riding around alone on a motorbike, swimming in crystal clear water, hanging out with the local islanders and understanding English Creole languages, eating fresh fish caught and cooked in front of me in the middle of the water. Scuba diving and sunbathing, fascinating conversations and more epic adventures.
Heading up above Minca and above the clouds to a hostel located at at the top of the mountain. Catching a motorbike taxi up the mudslide and dirt road on Saturday morning to unbelievable views over Santa Marta and the northern colombian mountains. I booked a hammock to sleep in and ended up having the entire space to myself.
Nights falling asleep outside watching the lighting bolts and 5am sunrise on my own ginormous hammock with a view to remember. An extraordinary experience.
6 months ago today, I landed in South America on a one way flight, into Rio de Janeiro ready to explore. No idea what I was in for, who I was going to meet or even where I was going. Today, I spent my morning drinking local Colombian coffee on a swing by the river, hiking through the mountains of Minca, cooking French toast in an outdoor kitchen, hiking to check out and try the coffee, chocolate and marijuana plantations, learn some Spanish and watch a crazy thunder storm over the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Happy days. ♥️🌏☮️✨
