#12DaysofWheelie Day 2: featuring our friends and neighbors at @sobbacycle! ⚡️ We had so much fun with this branding project - on top of a logo design and photography, we got to work on fun projects like t-shirt designs, coffee labels, water bottles, and three in-studio murals. If you’re looking for a cycling studio that combines an incredible workout, great instructors, and heart-pumping music, this is your place. (Second photo courtesy @hkcameraface)
Welcome to Day One of #12DaysofWheelie - our end-of-year countdown featuring 12 fun projects from 2018. First up, @backcountrybabes fresh out of Tahoe! 🎿 After we redesigned their logo last year, they asked us to design some merch options with their new colors and brand identity. We settled on two sweatshirt designs that captured the spirit of winter adventure and utilized their alpenglow-inspired color palette.

▪️Happy Opening Day @mt.brighton! 🎿⛷🏂
Mt. Brighton is a ski and snowboard area in Brighton, Michigan, that opened in 1960. As no hills large enough for commercial skiing or snowboarding exist naturally in Brighton, Mt. Brighton's slopes are man-made and reach a maximum height of 230 vertical feet. Mt. Brighton has 5 chairlifts and 7 surface lifts. Silver is the longest and newest of the 25 runs, running 1,350 feet. A terrain park, featuring rails, boxes, and jumps, is available to freestyle skiers and snowboarders. Almost all of the snow on Mt. Brighton is created artificially using water stored in an on-site reservoir and industry standard snowmaking equipment.
2018 brought a lot of ridiculously fun projects. Here’s a mash-up of some of the scenes we find ourselves in— full of big leaps, amazing humans, and landscapes worth protecting. 🙌 Wait until you see what we have planned for 2019!
Millennial outdoor consumers spend more time outside and consider themselves more outdoorsy than other outdoor consumers. They tend to look for retailers who are beginner friendly, inspirational, and active online. Need to revamp your online presence? We’re your people.
The @outdoorindustry team is super pumped about their capstone project deliverable! Great job to everyone in cohort 2 and congrats on finishing up a year of hard work and exciting experiences!
Growing up, my first career ambition was to be a #teacher . In junior high I was convinced I would be a really great #attorney . When I was 16 I moved to another country for a year and a half and all my dreams changed again. The world became bigger and I met people who had wild #ambitions and more aspirational #goals than living a quiet life. In July of 2016 I started working at the @petersenmuseum By then I had spent 14 years in #footwear#sportsmarketing and the #outdoorindustry . Over the next six years I worked on everything from producing events for @amcthewalkingdead at @comic_con to developing partnerships for the @theoceanfoundation and @adventure.travel_ to working on #films and #events at @sundanceorg film festival. I am grateful the Petersen hired me and it changed my life yet again. The people that I’ve met in the past two years in the #automotive world have been the biggest pleasant plot twist in my long and meandering career. If you had told me then that the most #philanthropic person I’ve ever met would be running a #charity in the car world I would have been very surprised. But when I met @seanlee768 who started the @puristgroup and he told me the story of his evolution to the eventual founding of the best charity I’ve ever known (google Sean Lee Purist) I was humbled and amazed. If you want to see for yourself, please come on Sunday. If you don’t know what to do with your life or what career is right for you or if you are successful and have stopped evolving where you are, come witness what being a #truesuccess is and sharing that success and inspiring others to do the same in their #community can really do. #purist#puristgroup @puristgroup @seanlee768 #cars#charity#giving#puristwinterdrive

The brilliant Luis explains why state offices like his are important, how population growth in mountain states impacts the outdoor economy, and how to make an impact as a brand in our industry.
