The last few weeks have caused me to jump for joy! @eleya @greggriffinphotography @playmateshanalee @v_sunst4r have been exploring the Yucatán with our amigo @humbertopasart. He showed us so many places that left us in awe with excitement the whole time. From sunrise to sunset we explored the beautiful beaches, caves, cenyotes, haciendas, towns and Mayan ruins. We learned about the history of the area, it’s people and enjoyed the wonderful flavors and food. Excited for all the adventures ahead and more exploring of one my favorite places yet.
• WHO RUN THE WORLD, GIRLS •
The other day I was playing with a three year old who said to me, "I don't know how to build with the trains, I'm a girl."
Man, doesn't that just kill you to hear? I could tell by her posture and tone of voice that she literally believed she wasn't capable of building a train track.
uhm news flash,
✨GIRL, YOU ARE CAPABLE ✨This topic has always been dear to my heart and It's not because I want to join a "cool"+ "trendy" women's movement or stir the pot.
BUT COME ON GUYS, I want to build a daughter who believes in her abilities. I want her to be respected. [as much as a man is]. I want her to be confident. I will continue to stand up for these things for all girls.
I want to be that person saying, "Don't listen to them. You can do this. I believe in you. Don't give up." Because girls have a lot to offer and we need to make sure THEY BELIEVE IT ABOUT THEMSELVES.

The rational mind said there was no danger in the situation. The anxious mind convoluted every possible disastrous scenario and made those ideas the focus.
Anxiety is a battle of yourself vs yourself. It’s challenging to overcome anxiety when you’re facing your own overwhelming emotions, but when you tack on the daily struggles of life with children it can be entirely overbearing.
Getting yourself into nature can be incredibly healing for a parent (and anyone) dealing with anxiety. It can also be intimidating and stress inducing when you’re bringing your children out with you.
Take your time. Breathe. Slow down.
Assess situations and determine if your worry is legitimized with the threat of real danger or if it’s your anxiety taking over. Sometimes anxiety can lead us to believe things that aren’t true. Try to determine when this is happening so that you can put your best attempt forward to overcome these thoughts.
Doing so will help you feel empowered and accomplished while you rest assured that you haven’t missed out on an incredible experience❤️
