Such a vivid memory. We had been in the car for quite some time. Both of us running on almost no sleep.
As we carved through the openness, the sun rose behind us illuminating everything around us with a warm glow. We pulled over, and walked out into this. Pure possibility. An untapped sense of wonderment.
Something about that morning lit a spark that would go on to prove it’s importance, and show it’s face as a strong sense of perseverance. Which turned out to be an absolute necessity.
What a year. Unlike other years, I’m excited and ready for the next one. I’ve met some great people, finished university, started a business and created a brand for myself (stayed tuned), made some fun business relationships and began the process of building a house with my perfect girlfriend @hannahlouiseking_
Sunsets are an interesting thing, it doesn’t matter how poor or rich you are everyone sees it the same (technically they don’t, but you catch my drift...). It’s time to put the skates on and get ready for next year! Make it your bitch.
I never really edit any of my photos but I think it’s time I get better at editing. Seems like a useful skill to have... I’d love to create a consistent theme (don’t worry, not cacti) among all the photos I put up
I never feel more solitude and peace, then when I’m on the blue ridge parkway at sunset watching the layers fade away into night. The transition of color into a starry night, is something else. Every time I visit, I end a day up there, and it never fails to put everything into perspective.
Give me cake, coffee, and cosmetics.
Ladies @viccosmeticsco has THE best, smoothest lip glosses that I rock on the trails(because makeup gives me confidence even when I’m working out!) and when I’m out and about.
I would highly recommend for gifts this holiday season for your favorite female hiker!
