Hello! I’m back! Some of you may have noticed that I have been away from Instagram (and my other social media channels) over the summer.
To cut a long story short, unfortunately I was taken ill at the beginning of July, and I have spent the last 7 weeks resting (doctors’ and Mum’s orders!) and recovering. I had literally just got back from my fairytale trip to New York, when I woke up in the most horrendous pain. Off to hospital where I was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis and kept in for 2 long weeks, before being discharged to recover at home.
Luckily I have the most amazing family, friends and clients who all rallied round, keeping my little family fed and happy, and keeping me sane! Anyone who knows me will realise that 7 weeks of doing nothing was incredibly frustrating for me... didn’t my poor old, necrotising and generally protesting pancreas know that I had plans for the summer?! Client projects to finish? New clients to help? Plans to hatch? Events to plan? Courses to write?
So I am thrilled to be posting again... and even went back to work yesterday for a brand new client. I’m excited to be back working again, and have a few new clients who have been very patient and who I’m excited about starting to work with from next week.
Thank you for all the support and good wishes over the past two months. My clients and followers are The Best! There’s a lot of exciting More Organised stuff coming up, and I can’t wait to share it all with you!
Throwback to some of my old scribblings when I was trying to prepare for the end of year OSCE. Jotting things down as I’m revising helps me to remember them and I do it super messily because I’m never going to read back on them.
Any wild guesses of what I was revising here?
The best way to get your time and life under control is by abandoning tasks of lower value and instead focusing on only a few things of higher value.
Heres a 5 minute read on how to creatively abandon tasks that dont give you much return on the time invested
I only went in for cat food! 😼 why is it impossible to only leave with what you needed from @homebargains !? In fairness the wine glass is to put away as an xmas gift for a cat obsessed friend (how organised am I!?). The candle and zoflora are for the house; I’m late on the zoflora bandwagon so any hints and tips are greatly appreciated 🤗
Spent my Saturday organising our wardrobe. There was so much stuff in here that didn’t belong and we didn’t need. Sent a whole bunch of clothes to the clothing bin & also got rid of so many shoes that I hardly ever wear anymore. Felt so good to declutter and get rid of things. The space feels so much lighter I can feel the air 😂

I’ve lost so much motivation to cook with hubby being away but I’m starting to force myself back into it. My taste buds are thanking me!
