In full bloom. A phal I had to buy - it was in Ikea isle and people were just walking into it. Several petals got torn off and part of one shoot got mangled, but what was left I really liked and there are 2 side flower shoots growing. So hopefully it’ll flower for longer. No scent, just pretty ;)
The last flower left from the second blooming this year. It’s been a while though;)🤔Smells wonderfully in any weather, in the first part of the day, citrusy floral fresh scent, rather potent. A winner in my book.
A new mini phal. I think I like my orchids small and neat;) I also like them fragrant, but this one was an unknown hybrid from IKEA, and it has no scent unfortunately. What it does have is abundance of pretty little flowers.
Binigyan ako ni Tim ng mga bulaklak kahapon. Actually, he’s never the flowers & chocolates type of guy. Never syang gagastos sa bouquet ng roses kahit super paborito ko pa na white roses. Sad no?
💕🌻 Sorry pala, di ko maasikaso yung page at blog for the last two weeks. Sobrang daming ganap, kaliwa’t kanan. Hahaha pero babawi ako sa inyo this November with several collaborative giveaways 💕😘😍 Abangan yan hehe
Kayo pala? Anong favorite ninyong bulaklak? 😍🌸 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ #orchids#orchidsph#orchidsofinstagram#orchidshare#orchidslovers#orchidsmanila#orchidspecies#orchidsociety#sunflower#sunflowers#sunflowermanila#sunflowerph#sunflowerphilippines#sunflowercare
“I took over as the president of the Ewa Orchid Society in 2009. We have members from all around, not only from Ewa. We have a pretty good mixture of different people who were just interested in growing orchids. Some of them had difficulty growing orchids and wanted to learn. I’m pretty good at growing orchids, so I want to teach and show them how to grow better orchids. In the late 2000s, we started having the Ewa Orchid Show at Ewa Elementary School. We try to keep most of our orchid show themes related to Ewa or something along that line. I remember in the old days when I used to ride my dirt bike down the cane haul road and pass all these old plantation houses in Ewa. So a few years back, I decided to build a replica of a plantation house front doorstep as decoration for the orchid show. I called it the Ewa Plantation House. A lot of the people really enjoyed it.” #Ewa#EwaBeach#Ewalution96706#OrchidSociety
