I haven’t made orange tofu in sooo long but last night @tciota suggested it and I couldn’t get it out of my head! This dish has the perfect balance of sweet and spicy and is quick enough to make on a busy weeknight! I use corn starch as a coating to make the tofu bites crunchy. The rest of the bowl is cabbage and shirataki noodles topped with green onions. •
Organic Extra firm tofu
Orange (juice and zest)
Gluten free low sodium Tamari
Crushed red pepper •
The sauce is so easy just mix everything together in a bowl and once you tofu is nice and crispy, dump sauce in and continuously toss the tofu. The sauce will thicken and your kitchen will smell heavenly. Once coated, serve it with whatever dish you’d like. Some of my favorites are mixed veggies, shirataki noodles and quinoa. Enjoy! *
🤤 Mmm Spring Rolls. Wrapped up with rice paper with radishes, cucumbers, buckwheat soba noodles, lettuce, orange tofu, and carrots. Served with Peanut Sauce. Pretty simple to make the most tedious part was just cutting the veggies. Orange Tofu is easily made by pressing a tofu block and then marinading it in orange juice with a splash of soy sauce.
Simple, fuss free cold Spanish gazpacho for lunch using only 2 tomatoes and garlic for the base. A wedge of onion and tomato sliced into cubes and tiny croutons as accompaniments. Seasoned with salt, pepper, sugar and white vinegar.
My first good food picture??? Haha. Here’s my famous crispy orange tofu, with snap peas, carrots, peppers, green beans, water chest nuts, broccoli, and rice noodles! Along with a pumpkin spice protein smoothie, with vanilla soy milk and bananas! 😍😍 This is my favorite go to easy meal. Packed full of protein and nutrients and very filling! And of course pumpkin spice because I’m a basic witch. 🧙🏻♀️
What do Vegans eat?
Baked Orange Tofu.

Serve with veggies. .
*in my most pretentious voice* “Dinner tonight will be crispy orange tofu with a lovely house-made sauce with notes of fried garlic & ginger served over a bed of organic steamed rice, enjoy." You guys, I love food. Even vegan food. Especially vegan food. Pretty sure what I’m doing is the Lord’s work.
