That awkward moment when you realize this isn’t you’re actual results and when you ask about it, they inform you it is because they have had you in their system as being 48 years old... I look pretty damn good for that age 😂😂😂 I wonder my actual results are.?! #orangetheoryfitness#keepburning#awkward#fitness#otftempe
Tried @otf_richland for the first time! I can see how this gets addicting!!! Hope I can start going regularly in the near future. Am curious how my stats compare to other newbies. Anyone try this out yet? Now that I understand the treadmill counts, I think I could go alot faster next time. #orangetheoryfitness
🗣Member Shout Out! This is Robert he has been a member of OTF🍊 Downtown since it opened in 2015. Robert and I took class together(when I was a member and started my own OTF journey ) before I started my journey into becoming an OTF coach . It had almost been over a year since I saw this rockstar⭐️ and I was beyond excited to have him in class tonight and of course he received the biggest hug and welcome back I practically halted the class lol ! You have been missed Robert ! To many more Tuesday sweat sessions 💪🏾 #family#fitness#fitfam#downtown#scottsdale#coach#headtrainer#orangetheoryfitness#memberappreciation#since2015#foundingmember
#Transformationtuesday - Ive debated sharing this all week..Its completely out of my comfort zone. But to say Orange Theory fitness has changed my life would be an understatement. Not just from my physical appearance, but mentally, and personal relationships as well. What started as a 2 week free trial because honestly I had zero intention of spending so much on a gym in my life, to what some may now call an addiction.😉. Mentally, I've learned to push myself farther and harder than I thought I could go. And even when I'm not pushing myself toward change, one of my super awesome coaches is there to be sure I'm stepping up my game. The friendships I've made, with the most determined, strong, inspirational humans are refreshingly wonderful. And the physical changes have been great. Pics are ➡️. Left-May 2017 a few months before 🍊 but there wasnt Much change before I started in August. Pic on right... June2018. #orangetheoryfitness @otf_richland #fitmom#notdoneyet#progressnotperfection
What is your fitness story? We all have one. Anytime is good to recommit to fitness & #summer is no exception! 🔶️🔶️🔶️ I’m working hard to get back to an #exercise routine so I jumped at the chance to take a class @Orangetheory. I visited the SW Durham (NC) location. Staff members made me feel comfy as soon as I entered. I needed that because I haven’t taken a group class in ages & felt a tad self-conscious! 🔶️🔶️🔶️ Registration was thorough but easy. I shared my fitness goals & history then took a tour. I really loved wearing a heart monitor to track my heart rate throughout the class. It can be worn on your arm or chest. Classes last an hour. 🔶️🔶️🔶️ A screen shows your name & all info recorded by your heart monitor. Staff members thoroughly explain what each color means before you begin & will explain your scores at the end. 🔶️🔶️🔶️ I gave my all on the treadmill, row machines, strength training, & floor exercises. The best part is, you continue to burn calories for 36 hours after your workout. SHUT YO’ MOUTH! #HeckYeah 🔶️🔶️🔶️ Check out @orangetheory, find your nearest location, & give it a go. It doesn’t matter if you work out daily or only get cardio on store aisles. ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME. 🔶️🔶️🔶️ Everyone from the front desk to the trainers was very encouraging, knowledgeable, & catered to any question/concern. I give it a definite thumb’s up based on my experience. I definitely want to return! Check my stories to see my slay!😂 (Don't you just love the orange lights?😉) . .
When your Tuesday starts off pretty darn good. Lots of this early bird girl getting up and putting her time in at @otfmidtowntulsa This place is amazing. What I love most...the coaches meet you at the level you walk in at, then push your ass to work harder and reach new levels. I’m surrounded by amazing people everyday I go. Some athletes, some beasts and some who love to drink mimosas just like me. #otf#orangetheoryfitness#orange#fitness#workout#hit100#100#goals

Coached my 500th class tonight at my favorite place on earth! I truly couldn’t be more in love with what I get the chance to wake up and do each and every day!
Huge shoutout to all of my members and coworkers who literally make this “job” my dream job! You all make coming to work the best part of every day and I wouldn’t change it for the world!
The last 2 weeks have been really hard for me after losing my grandpa, the only thing that has been keeping me going is my family and my Orange Family at OTF Coralville. You all bring a smile into my face as soon as I walk in the door and I truly couldn’t be more thankful for all of you lifting my spirits and helping me find my passion and energy when times are hard! Much love to my Orange Family for all the love and support over the last 10 months, especially the last couple weeks, I couldn’t do it without you!
Here’s to my first 500 classes, and here’s to the next 500+ classes to come. I love coaching with every ounce of me and love being able to learn each and every day! Thank you OTF for this amazing opportunity and all the opportunities yet to come! 💪🏼❤️🍊 #orangetheoryfitness#coachinglife#joblove#moreotfmorelife
All of these pictures were taken roughly around the same time over the course of 2 years.
In the picture on the left, I had just moved to Asheville and was at my highest adult weight. This was due in part to grad school stress. I had always eaten well and exercised but if your body is constantly in a state of flight or fight and pumping out cortisol, then weight loss is just not going to happen. After the big move from St.Louis to Asheville, I was ready to start fresh and lose the grad school weight.
The picture in the middle is 1 year later at my lowest adult weight. Previously that fall I had lost roughly 17 lbs by following a macro counting diet. Until I reached maintenance, my macros were primarily high protein, moderate fat, and low carb. It wasn’t always fun (my weekday carbs were only 80g) but I lost the weight and fit into clothes that I hadn’t fit me since the start of grad school. However, in this picture I had dropped additional weight due to stress and had been consuming about half my normal calorie amount. Ironically, the stress this time caused me not to eat. My anxiety was at an all time high and while I was putting on a brave face and smiling, I was pretty scared about the unknowns of my future.
The picture on the right was taken today. Today, I am thriving and in love with my life. I have finally reached my form of balance that I have been searching for over the years. I’m no longer counting macros but I still track my food intake, mostly to just keep me in check. Eventually, I plan on not recording my food everyday and only track my intake periodically. But until then, this is what works for me. I go to Crossfit 3-4 days per week and OrangeTheory 1-2x/week. My stress levels are at an all time low and overall, I’m just happy.
If you’re struggling in your life right now, just know that change is possible. 2 years and even 1 year ago I never would have imagined I am where I am now and I wouldn’t have it any other way. #transformationtuesday#transformation#healthjourney#change#relentlessforwardprogress#dietitian#dietitiansofinstagram#dietitiansofig#RD#RDN#fitfam#weightlossjourney#weightloss#balance#wnc#828isgreat
