We are inspired by water - swimming in it, painting it, photographing it, listening to it. Water is also the lifeblood of our planet. Less than 1% of the world's water is fresh and accessible, yet we are putting it under tremendous stress.
We’ve all heard that we should take shorter showers and not flush unnecessarily, but did you know that products that we consume every day are indirectly using huge amounts of water?
💧6,813 liters = 1 pair of jeans
💧8,547 liters = 1 pair of shoes
💧2,500 liters = 1 hamburger
💧208 liters = 1 cup of milk
Knowing the water footprint of what we consume can allow us to ask questions like, can I buy second-hand? Can I switch my hamburger for a veg option today? Water is our planet’s most precious resource, so let’s cherish it and give it the love it gives us 💦 💙
How gorgeous is this garden? Looks like a scene out of ‘The Secret Garden’. This is actually part of an event space where my bestie is getting married!!! It’s in such a cute little town I never even knew existed. Shame.
Cheers to the weekend! 🍻 DYK there’s a new brewery on #OntBlueCoast 🌊? True to their name, this family of brewers have a beer that rocks. Check out their seasonal brews on tap for a short time only! #DiscoverON 📸: @petroliasupperco
