G’day mates 🇦🇺 . My return home will be bitter sweet 🎀. This trip down unda has taught me so much about nature☀️, food🍩, the “bush”🌳, people🎈. I’ve encountered reptiles 🦎 and sharks 🦈 , bugs 🐛 and bats 🦇, flat whites ☕️ and avo toast 🥑, beaches 🏝 and rain ☔️. I’m ready to bring this inspiration home to NYC - even to the snow ⛄️ ❄️ 🙊. For now, this meal doh 🙊🤤
I was chatting with one of my challengers last night about "falling off the wagon"
I hate to think of eating as being on or off a wagon. When I have some chocolate or have to get fast food or enjoy a cider or two (like last night) I start eating the way I normally eat the NEXT meal!
One drive- thru trip shouldn't be grounds to do that everyday for the next couple weeks until your feel disgusting again and want to make a change!
Yes, you may need to first start with a plan and change some things to get going in the right direction, but you can still include the "fun" foods on your fitness journey without feeling like you're on a "diet". Diets are temporary! Small lifestyle changes in the right direction over time with consistency is the key!
I'm not about quick fixes but I am about sustainable results and food freedom! It's a beautiful, beautiful thing when you find it!
Edamame hummus - really tasty and a great one to try for our fellow hummus addicts out there. Not made this ingredient combination before and it works a treat. Spent lunch time happily piling it on toast and dipping veggies and crisps in it.
I should have been head over heels for this rainbow 🌈 cake in a jar 🥰🥰 from Berry Bloom at the @shopmainplacemall, but it had absolutely NO flavor. The cake was on the stale side, and the cream was extremely bland 😔😭
Cheesiest Friendsgiving dish I’ve ever made. 🤤🧀 #paneraathome
Holiday cooking is in full swing as of today. Starting with this simple Hot Broccoli Cheddar-Bacon Dip using @panerabread’s at home soup. I picked this soup up at my local @target and in 18 minutes of cooking this dish was ready to go. If you love cheese like we do then you’ll loveee this appetizer. Grab yourself some veggies and crackers and dig in! 🤓💥
Swipe up in my stories for this recipe and many more using @panerabread at home soups. The recipes are all so simple and delicious. Happy Saturday friends! 👩🏻🌾🥦 #friendsgiving#panerabread#wresponsored#whatrobineats

On @ivettedoesketo plate ➡️ @theoriginalbrathans Chicken andouille sausages, oven roasted zucchini and carrots, our Roasted Garlic @clekraut and just a bit of Trader Joe’s spinach dip & caramelized onion dip.
Who says brunch is just a Sunday thing? 🥐☕️ The weather is beautiful today so I just want to spend as much time as possible outdoors. 😍
I shot some content earlier today and now it’s time to brunch! 📸 Afterwards, I think we’re going to shop around for some holiday gifts! 🎁🤗 #cheesecakefactory#saturdaymood
I’m literally sitting cross legged on the bathroom floor right now, hiding from my kids, trying to type out this instagram post. I am in such a RUT and can’t seem to stay motivated to post lately! I think I’m burnt out because I upped my posting scheduling on the blog to 3x a week for the holidays and dude, props to all my bloggers out there who do that on the regular, I’m dying over here!! 😅
Sometimes I think i should just take a month off from blog posts entirely and focus on my social media strategy. That’s right, nonbloggers, WE’RE STRATEGIZING TO GET TO YOU 😂😂😂
Well just in case you are seeing this, please take a moment to imagine that this PUMPKIN ROLL is in your mouth right now. Guys, it’s so good. Have you made one before?? It’s like waaay easier than you would think. Promise. ▪️

Breakfast from the other day Cause YA GIRL IS AT DISNEY 🥰🥳 ( these are some awesome eggs Benedict btw)
So I have the most amazing boss who decided we take a trip to Brand Star, a Tv production company, and then hop over to Disney 🤗🤗. Of course this is a VERY IMPORTANT BUSINESS TRIP. 💁🏻♀️
Hope everyone else’s Saturday is just as lit !! 😎 now I gotta go ride some Disney rides !! GTG✌🏻
Broccoli, purple new potato, Japanese sweet potato, baby spinach, fermented black garlic, free range eggs.💥🍽 // Fermented black garlic is amazing! It has a sweetness and texture reminiscent of raisins, but with a savory garlic flavor (it’s garlic candy, basically). Can’t wait to experiment more with it!
It's #NationalBaklavaDay ! No food reigns 👑 over the #dessert platter more than baklava drenched in 🍯. Make it homemade with Kontos Fillo or buy our pre-made varieties--you can't go wrong either way! 👍
It’s a sad day in the house when you only have ONE EGG 🍳. I changed my mind on scrambling eggs, because for some reason a single scrambled egg is like a tablespoon of food🤷🏻♀️..instead I decided to fry it up and top my sautéed veggies. Brussels sprouts and an arugula/kale mix sautéed in avocado oil + garlic + turmeric and a bit of black pepper. Egg on top. Looks like a nice golden sunrise thanks to the turmeric✌🏻. Since my smoothie variations are limited on my anti candida diet, eggs have become a go-to on the weekends for my morning protein.
If you don’t have issues with eggs, they’re an AMAZING source of protein and other nutrients. They contain B-vitamins which are important for energy production, selenium which is good for thyroid health, healthy fats, which are good for our brain, heart and hormones. Eggs also contain something called choline, which is important for building your cell’s membranes and supporting brain health. To get all the benefits of eggs, be sure to eat the entire thing. No egg white omelettes over here folks💁🏻♀️.
Not sure what kind of eggs to buy? If you can find pastured eggs from a local farmer, you’re golden. Extra bonus if they’re organic which means the food they consume will be organic (less risk of pesticides and glyphosate). Being conscious of the living conditions of the hen is important to consider as well. That’s why. Using local pasture raised is the best you can get. I typically purchase organic eggs from the grocery store because that’s the choice that works for me. You’ll find in the health and wellness space that you can’t do everything all the time, nor SHOULD YOU. Respect yourself enough to know where to draw the line for what works for you.
Happy Saturday ❤️xx
Yesterday was my birthday and very last minute (2 hrs before my party) I decided to bake a lemon cake with rose buttercream frosting, decorated with dried roses from Iran. It wasn’t perfect. But it was very much me. – @nazriahi 🌹#BittenFood
One meal I don’t post a lot of is breakfast.. because unlike my lunch and dinners, it’s the same almost everyday. I eat about an hour or two after I wake up, I’m not intermittent fasting (the only fasting I do is eating fast.. 🤭 i’ll be done my food and @dashofchunki will be on his second bite), I just like sipping on coffee and getting some stuff done then eating.
My breakfast usually looks a lot like this - @vitalfarms eggs, uncured turkey bacon, greens, avocado and everything seasoning. If I want something quick I’ll do @ggfiber crackers with @kitehillfoods chive spread, avo and sometimes add tomatoes if I’m feelin’ fancy. I rarely crave sweets in the AM which is why you don’t really see pancakes and oats and all that around here. What’s your go-to breakfast🍳
not only does kimchi add amazing flavour to anything you add it to, but it is jam-packed with probiotics that are perfect for helping to promote healthy digestion ✨ this is the main reason I've been eating so many fermented foods like kimchi, so that I can start to heal my gut from months of damage from eating gluten 🌾🚫 | @cabbagepatchkimchi #ambassador ✨
I used to think oats were the best breakfast but my mind has since been changed. this amazing south Indian breakfast is what I go to sleep dreaming about 🤤 starting with mikes plate - donut (of course, I swear he somehow spotted it first!), green chutney, idli sambhar, and his second plate with an omelet. both of us had chai’s because the chai here is other worldly good ☕️ on my plate, I also had idli sambhar - the little white rice cake and some kind of red sauce/spice blend, pav bhaji - a vegetable spiced curry mix you eat with the roll that we decided was our favorite, some dhokla upma - a fermented batter of chickpeas and rice with bay leaves, and some kind of cinnamon spiced loaf that was sweet but not too sweet. we literally woke up at 2 am last night with our sleep schedules out of wack talking about how excited we were to eat this breakfast again. we’re foodies at heart 💕👫 #foodcation#indianfood

(EN/ITA) Which snack sounds more SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE? Which option would make you feel FREE to say "I had X for snack today"? Yesterday I asked you this question using three simple snacks and I loved all the different replies. There isn't a right way to answer this question for a few reasons: 1) we are not looking at the nutrients' content or how pretty is the food, 2) we are taking into account your own point of view, 3) behind each reply there's your own story⠀
Here I want to talk with you about taking GUILT out from your food choices. For years, I didn't feel comfortable sharing my food choices with other people, whether they were "healthy" or not, the idea of giving someone the chance of use food to judge my body, my choices, my skin, or any other part of me... was making me think "it's better to say what IT WOULD BE MORE SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE". But, by doing this, I was ending up in a never-ending loop every time: people will always find a way to judge you if they want to do it. During the years, people made me feel guilty because I had pizza, chia pudding, store-bought croissants, coffee, homemade bread.. because I had psoriasis or I didn't look enough skinny.. because I was going to the gym or I was doing yoga at home.. and for so many other reasons!! ⠀
Having to change and adapt my food choices to the people around me was a complete waste of time and something basically impossible to do all the time - but every time I was sharing the "true choice" someone was judging me straight away⠀
💭"you're having chia pudding.. what is that? Only people on a diet would eat something so weird, I go to the gym so I can eat a muffin, but you can't"⠀
💭"homemade bread.. sure, because you have time for this sort of things.. I can't, I have so many things to do"⠀
"are you really going to eat a croissant with all that butter?"⠀
💭"I gave up coffee, my skin looks amazing.. you really need to do the same"⠀
💭"so this is your lunch and you don't go to the gym? You can't eat what you want"⠀
💭"you only do yoga at home, this can't be your breakfast"⠀
💭"you are going to the gym today, almonds are not enough.. you'll end up eating too much at dinner" [continue below👇]
