Sorry I’ve been missing! Real life happens and a real life new house looms large next year, so I’ve been busy packing all the little houses 😅 so many minis 🙈🤣 Hopefully I will be able to post some mini pics in the new year 🤞 #onetwelthscale#miniatures#dollshouse#oneinchscale
Just got this new Harley. I LOVE a lot about her. The only thing I don’t like is her height. As you can see, the only one who’s taller than her is Hela. Rogue and Diana shouldn’t be dwarfed by Harley even slightly. If I could shorten her to, like, 5 and a half inches, or at least enough so that the characters who should be taller, I.E. Rogue and Diana, are taller than her. Is there anyone smarter than me who knows how I could modify Harley or who could modify her for me? #harleyquinn#roguexmen#wonderwoman#marvellegends#mezco#mezcoone12collective#dccollectibles#onetwelthscale
Is it sad that this dollhouse is more decked out for Christmas than my real house? I couldn’t even deal with trying to get lights up on my 18 foot porch, but my son was complaining that the house wasn’t decorated (because apparently a door wreath is not enough). So I bought one of those projectors that shine lights on the house, stuck it in the ground, plugged it in, and was like “Done!” Winning!
BTW, the #magnoliadollhouse got a paint job because all of my other dollhouses are white and my mini cul-de-sac was looking a little boring.
Peeping into the master bedroom of my Grange (not named yet) at this new bed I have just made from an upcycled door I removed from Braewood House. The wallpaper will be stripped off or painted over eventually and the whole house given a fresh uniform look.
They’re bold and they’re beautiful and I couldn’t resist making this pair of shabby chic lanterns. Sometimes things just come together in the most unexpected way. 😆I have listed one pair on Etsy but can make more if they are popular.
This diorama is 16 inches long, 12 inches tall and 11 inches deep. Made out of insulation foam board, bass wood, and plastic fish tank plants. Painted with acrylic paint, sealed with acrylic paint sealer and magnetized for easy shipping and storage. YouTube video is up, link in the profile. #Diostructure#Diorama#Diorawmus#OneTwelthScale
I am beyond honored and excited to be on the cover of the Jan/Feb Issue of @dhminiatures magazine! I came across this magazine 25 years ago when it went by Nutshell News and it started the love affair I have with miniatures that still continues to this day. Thank you so much to @genuinejoan and @auraleakrieger (two amazing miniaturists) for this incredible gift.
And for the finish, the shelf unit. It fits the TV kit too! To capture the teak look I used light walnut Watco danish oil. I sealed it with matte finish oil urethane. If you plan to take pictures of your minis stay away from glossy finishes! Matte and satin are the best.
