It was ’blazin’ hot today (34c/94f), but that is no excuse for not getting some work in.
@youngesthoopster beat me 11-9, although he was leading 10-4 and almost blew it. Gotta close out your opponent when you have game point and the momentum. It took him too long but he did it.
Since I have a huge skill and height advantage, the rule is I can only shoot from the outside while Lennart can use his full arsenal. I employ different strategies when we play; this time forcing him to shoot and make jumpers - which he did very well.
He won this game but I won the next two. Great fun and most importantly, gives my 11 yr old son a difficult challenge each time we play, which will only make it easier when he plays against boys his own age.

Being strategic with the timing of you cardio can greatly improve your performance and progress.
Doing cardio right before your weightlifting session is not optimal because you deplete your glycogen stores and hence have less energy to power through your weight session.
Doing cardio after your weight training session is a better way to burn fat while maintaining your performance and strength.
I personally like to do my cardio sessions on a separate day or in a separate session.
But at the end of the day it’s up to you. You should do whatever you enjoy the most and whatever you can stay consistent with.
