Oil storage can be so fun! You don’t have to keep them just sitting out on your counter or by the bed, and you definitely don’t have to keep them locked away in a box! Don’t get me wrong, I love my storage boxes, especially for my oils I have extras of, but I like to see my oils. I use them more when they are out in my face.

Castor oil is of the world's most important industrial oils, and was one of the earliest commercial products to date. Castor beans have been found in ancient Egyptian tombs dating back to 4000 b.c.The oil from the bean was used in facial oils, in wick lamps for lighting, and Egyptian doctors used it to protect the eyes from irritation.
The castor plant, botanical name is Ricinus Communis and is native to the Ethiopian region of east Africa. It now grows in tropical and warm temperate regions throughout the world.
