Dr. Jane Thierfeld Brown, co- authored “ Student with Asperger’s: A Guide for College Professionals,” (2009) translated and published in Japan 2017, “The Parent’s Guide to College for Students on the Autism Spectrum,” (2012) and “Behavior Management and Self-Regulation,” (2012) along with many textbook chapters and articles.

Some Glimpses of the Diversity Awards Ceremony 2018 and Soirée is “ODCE :This year’s host for the event is Cleo Greene, a news reporter and weekend morning anchor of WFAA News 8 Daybreak.Greene began her career as a feature reporter in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Her career has also taken her to Georgia, Maryland and Minneapolis. Born on the East Coast as the child of parents from Jamaica and Guyana, she spent her summers with her Jamaican grandparents raising a pet goat called Ishboo. As a military brat, her travels also took her to faraway locales such as Japan.
Some Glimpses of the Diversity Awards Ceremony 2017 and Soirée is “ODCE: Ten years of building a diverse and inclusive university.” With host for the event is Matthew Polze, senior lecturer, associate dean, Undergraduate Programs Accounting at the University of Texas at UT Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management.
Other features of the event included special award presentations, musical selections from UT Dallas students and the winners of Diversity Poetry Competition Showcase. The soirée featured food from various cultural regions of the world (catered by Chartwells Catering). Soiree entertainment included the Garland High School Theta Nu Sigma Step Team and the UT Dallas Bangladesh Student Association Dancers. Music provided by the Texas Instruments Jazz Band, Mariachi Michoacan, the Edd M Phillippine Dance Company and other invited entertainment. #utdallas#utd#diversity#odce#awards

준비없이 아무생각없이 예측이 아닌 추측으로 지금은 아니라며 거부해왔던 부모님 세대. 그저 살 곳만 있으면 된다. 살 집이 우선이다 하여 마련한 아파트로 인생을 걸었던 아버지. 하지만 퇴직은 일찍 다가왔고 현금없이 은퇴한 부모님은 퇴직 후에도 새로운 일을 구하러 오늘도 나가신다. 아니 정확히 말하자면 준비되지않은 연금으로 노후가 보장이 안되어.... 쉽게 말해 생활비가 없다.... 근데 생각보다 오래살것같다... 자녀들한테 부담주지 말아야지 말아야지 하면서도 자녀가 주는 용돈은 거절하지 못하는게 서글프다.... 국민연금이면 된다면서... 충분한 연금이란 없는 것 같다... 지금보다 더 나이들면 일할 곳도 없어지겟지... 그럼 저 차창 너머에 있는 할머니처럼 하루하루 폐지를 주으며 분리수거 함을 뒤지며 살아야 하는건가... 우리나라 복지가 이것 뿐인가.. 무엇부터 잘못되었던 것인가...
