“Half of me is filled with bursting words and half of me is painfully shy. I crave solitude yet also crave people. I want to pour life and love into everything yet also nurture my self-care and go gently. I want to live within the rush of primal, intuitive decision, yet also wish to sit and contemplate. This is the messiness of life - that we all carry multitudes, so must sit with the shifts. We are complicated creatures, and ultimately, the balance comes from this understanding. Be water. Flowing, flexible and soft. Subtly powerful and open. Wild and serene. Able to accept all changes, yet still led by the pull of steady tides. It is enough.”

More to be unleashed onto you all. I've too many favourites..... I'll start with this one... Happiest of birthdays to this amazing chick @sasha.free I hope 18 is an awesome year for you!
What a day! I need a beer. Too much to be said in one post, but huge shout out to the amazing people that keep on fighting for our oceans when they need it most. *****
BREAKING: Today the Turnbull Government secured savage cutbacks to Australia’s marine sanctuaries. This is a bad day for global marine conservation, as it represents the largest removal of environmental protection on Earth!
But it’s not over.
It’s taken two decades of campaigning to get a national network of marine parks and we won’t be giving up until our sanctuaries are restored. We will continue to campaign alongside the groundswell of Australians who have spoken up for our oceans!
These may not be the prettiest carrots in the bunch but it’s what’s on the inside that counts. We source directly from our local farmers here in Byron Bay and are more than happy to take the odd ones out to ensure greater sustainability and zero waste. Any off cuts are then either fed to our chickens or into the compost, ready to go straight back into our garden and so the cycle continues... ♻️
