This lighthouse represents a lot to me. Strength, stability, guidance, and hope just to name a few. A reminder to try to be a light in the darkness of this cruel world. We all have our own light that we need to let shine brighter than any star and we also need to be careful not to diminish someone else’s light.
If you know me, you know music is a HUGE part of my life. It’s how I worship, it’s my church, it’s my escape, it’s literally everything! I have always been able to connect so deeply to lyrics ever since I was a kid, and it only gets stronger the older I get. There are 2 songs that highly recommend you take time out of your day to listen to. They both explain my meaning behind this tattoo and have such a powerful message. The first song is @calebandkelsey singing a medley of Oceans/You make me brave and the second song is My Lighthouse by @rendcollective .
Thank you so much @timbecktattoos for being such an amazing artist and for all of your hard work, skill, artistry, attention to detail, and for everything!

The ocean is home to all kinds of creatures — but it’s also home to a ton of plastic trash, and that’s a problem for all the animals that live there. Ocean plastics are a major concern for environmentalists around the world. But how did this garbage get so out of control, and what can we do about it?
We explain the pollution history, growth, and solutions in a comprehensive guide — click the link in our bio to learn more!

First off, ZOOM on this video!! Second off, watch it all! This absolutely INSANE orca encounter is certainly a once in a lifetime moment!!!! These animals, much like sharks are massively misunderstood with, a rather negative reputation. No orca has EVER killed a human in the wild. Listen to the facts, not the hype. Congrats @dylan_brayshaw for capturing this beautiful, natural and magical encounter showing these apex predators aren’t reckless, ruthless killers; they’re intelligent, inquisitive, playful beings.

The agreement represents a significant milestone in the struggle against marine plastic pollution.
Mismanaged waste from ships accounts for approximately 32 per cent of marine plastic pollution entering EU waters each year, including old fishing nets that impact on biodiversity long after being lost or discarded ...
