Blue Nana Overnight Oatmeal
Another classic flavour we have that can never go wrong. Sweetness overloaded with the homemade blueberry sauce!
This overnight oatmeal contains banana, blueberries, homemade blueberry sauce, milk, yoghurt, honey and homemade muesli.
Amount per Jar: 500 ml
Please inform us if you do not want to add yoghurt, or replace the milk with soya milk or almond milk.
Overnight Oatmeal is best eaten fresh. Otherwise, you can put it in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
The perfect balance of protein + carbs + fat, all in harmony in one delicious bowl.
In my dessert bowl: @nancysyogurt cottage cheese, chilled oatmeal, raspberries, chia seed, bee pollen, and peanut butter.
Have a great night, my friends!
This Throwback Thursday picture is sentimental because it’s from the 2nd batch of soap I ever made, and it’s named after Mema, my grandmother. Enjoy this goat’s milk based bar with a trio of oats (steel-cut for exfoliating, oatmeal powder for nourishment, and rolled oats to make it pretty!💜 https://cravesoap.myshopify.com/products/mema-s-oatmeal-bar #cravesoap#oats#oatmeal#goat#goatsmilk#goatsmilksoap#handmade#soap#allnatural
Just made this delicious oatmeal with cocoa powder and fresh berries 😋 Making the decision to eat healthy isn’t always easy for everyone. 1st reason is people assume that to eat healthy everything will be plain and tasteless. When you think of eating healthy do you see only vegetables ??? Some people only see that . Eating healthy is so much more then that though. There are endless recipes that substitute for junk food. I believe that you can make any of your favorite foods healthier. My generation is really into being vegan and healthy eating. But isn’t eating healthy expensive?? That’s the 2nd reason. Health food stores and juice bars are really expensive , there’s no doubt about that. I feel ripped off when I buy a tiny smoothie for 12$. We get sucked in by the advertisement, it tells us how good it is for us and the benefits of what’s in it. So we buy it anyways. Not everyone has that kind of cash to spend for such a small product that doesn’t even fill us up. The solution to this is to make your own. Why waste 12$ when your could make it at home for less. But this brings me to my 3rd reason. People do not put in the effort to meal prep or make there own meals. We can all agree that it’s easier to go to a fast food place to get food then to spend an hour making dinner from scratch. Benefits of making your own food is simply you know what your eating. For the most part we have no clue what’s in fast food. There are tons of unnecessary chemicals and oils to make them last long. Don’t you want to know what your feeding your body? Personally I do. These are just some reasons I feel people decide not to eat healthy. Everyone can eat healthy if they choose, it’s just about if they want to put in a little effort to make it happen. 🌊 #healthyfood#healthy#healthylifestyle#healthyrecipes#fitness#fit#workout#juice#smoothie#smoothierecipes#oatmeal#berries#workout#workoutclothes
I KNOW, Omega 3s AGAIN! You’ve probably heard so many times that you've stopped listening. But, eating fish is part of a healthy diet. Fish is low in cholesterol, low in calories and fat. Studies have shown that eating fish does a world of good for your body. It boosts your brain’s memory and helps your heart function well. It even works to help you get a more restful sleep. It was discovered that not only does a weekly helping of fish in meal planning give your body extra benefits, but it can also raise the IQ level in children. The impact of how fish can help the brain is also seen in studies among Alzheimer’s patients as well as helps protect against developing dementia. Hi World! Sorry its been so long since I last checked in, please love me hahah❤️. Life has been quite crazy, and if I'm honest it has definitely been a bit of a struggle. I know that I have pretty much been M.I.A from all the socials, but times like these really do force you to look after yourself and reevaluate your priorities. And as much as this blog has been such a big passion of mine (and how Im so keen to get back into sharing my thoughts and photos with you all🌠), the extra stress of social media (amongst many other things) really did get a bit much.
I think it's so easy to get used to that low-lying feeling of stress that can be sometimes be brought up by the endless scrolling and screen time; so much so that for many of us this becomes a normal state of being. So even if your in a great place in your life right now, I believe that it is well worth thinking about going on a social detox. Let go of your phone for a moment, experience the world, really be present in the day to day. Real life is around you, not through your screen, so even if this seems like too much of a challenge, try to give some thought as to how this might benefit your life. You never know, taking just one day to be free of technology may just make a huge difference to your mental clarity.
Much love chickens ❤️ I look forward to sharing with you all again, even if it means posting less regularly as I try to find a positive social media balance in my life xx

I always get asked which oil/fat is lower in calories?
The answer is ....They are all basically the same! All fats contain 9 calories per gram (37kJ/g)
It's the COMPOSITION of the oil that matters:
GOOD FAT 😇
✔ Monounsaturated Fats: EVOO, avocado
✔ Polyunsaturated: canola oil, grapeseed oil
BAD FAT 😈
✘ Saturated Fat: butter, ghee, lard, copha
✘ Trans fat
Saturated fat is usually SOLID at room temperature. If it’s solid at room temperature then that’s what it will look like in your arteries!
Swapping butter for avocado 🥑 is a simple way to reduce your intake of saturated fat ✔️
this post isn’t saying you can NEVER have saturated fat! it’s just important to limit it!
Food companies can use ‘lite’ or ‘light’ on oil products, this may refer to the products colour or taste - not necessarily calories!
Like all things in the nutrition world! ‘Fat’ is a controversial topic! Some say pick coconut oil others say ghee and I say extra virgin olive oil! 😋
Whatever you pick, make an informed decision and look up 👀 the fat break down on the nutrition information panel! That ain’t lying to you 💁🏻♀️
