Another classic flavour we have that can never go wrong. Sweetness overloaded with the homemade blueberry sauce!

This overnight oatmeal contains banana, blueberries, homemade blueberry sauce, milk, yoghurt, honey and homemade muesli.

Amount per Jar: 500 ml

Please inform us if you do not want to add yoghurt, or replace the milk with soya milk or almond milk. 
Overnight Oatmeal is best eaten fresh. Otherwise, you can put it in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

Previous studies have found that oats may reduce risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD), diabetes, poor gut health, and more recently the breakfast food has been found to reduce your risk of cancer by 20%. So what’s the magical secret? Porridge has a high fibre content (soluble fibre called beta-glucan), low GI and contains many bioactive compounds which helps lower cholesterol production and the glucose response, as well as giving satiety (all in one breakfast bowl - 70 grams). Oats are also relatively high in protein and a good source of unsaturated fat. I use wheatfree uncontaminated oats being on a gluten-free diet, and today my beautiful little take away jar is also filled with cinnamon, stewed apple and blackberries (study: 10.1371/journal.pmed.1002039). Just made this delicious oatmeal with cocoa powder and fresh berries 😋 Making the decision to eat healthy isn’t always easy for everyone. 1st reason is people assume that to eat healthy everything will be plain and tasteless. When you think of eating healthy do you see only vegetables ??? Some people only see that . Eating healthy is so much more then that though. There are endless recipes that substitute for junk food. I believe that you can make any of your favorite foods healthier. My generation is really into being vegan and healthy eating. But isn’t eating healthy expensive?? That’s the 2nd reason. Health food stores and juice bars are really expensive , there’s no doubt about that. I feel ripped off when I buy a tiny smoothie for 12$. We get sucked in by the advertisement, it tells us how good it is for us and the benefits of what’s in it. So we buy it anyways. Not everyone has that kind of cash to spend for such a small product that doesn’t even fill us up. The solution to this is to make your own. Why waste 12$ when your could make it at home for less. But this brings me to my 3rd reason. People do not put in the effort to meal prep or make there own meals. We can all agree that it’s easier to go to a fast food place to get food then to spend an hour making dinner from scratch. Benefits of making your own food is simply you know what your eating. For the most part we have no clue what’s in fast food. There are tons of unnecessary chemicals and oils to make them last long. Don’t you want to know what your feeding your body? Personally I do. These are just some reasons I feel people decide not to eat healthy. Hi World! Sorry its been so long since I last checked in, please love me hahah❤️. Life has been quite crazy, and if I'm honest it has definitely been a bit of a struggle. I know that I have pretty much been M.I.A from all the socials, but times like these really do force you to look after yourself and reevaluate your priorities. And as much as this blog has been such a big passion of mine (and how Im so keen to get back into sharing my thoughts and photos with you all🌠), the extra stress of social media (amongst many other things) really did get a bit much.

I think it's so easy to get used to that low-lying feeling of stress that can be sometimes be brought up by the endless scrolling and screen time; so much so that for many of us this becomes a normal state of being. So even if your in a great place in your life right now, I believe that it is well worth thinking about going on a social detox. Let go of your phone for a moment, experience the world, really be present in the day to day. Real life is around you, not through your screen, so even if this seems like too much of a challenge, try to give some thought as to how this might benefit your life. You never know, taking just one day to be free of technology may just make a huge difference to your mental clarity.

I think I’m the only person to have No Bake cookies with raisins. I thought this was the only way to make them until I went to college! And if you google recipes - no raisins appear! Now that my husband won’t eat raisins, it’s no bakes without raisins. They’re good...just not as good.

Finally had my breakfast at a relatively more appropriate time. I have been waking up in the morning quite early these days (like 330/4am), it's hard to wait until breakfast time so I usually have it at 530am which I think is quite early and abnormal,  and it means I have to have my lunch and dinner earlier than others also because I will get hungry earlier. However, today I was able to go back to sleep again after waking up at 4am before I woke up again at 6am, so I could have my breakfast at 630am instead, which I think is in anyway better than 530am🤔

Easy Apple Crisp

Ingredients

Change amounts as desired. These are starting points:

1. Apples: 4 Gala

2. Rolled oats: 4 large spoonfuls

3. Honey: 1 large spoonful

4. Cinnamon: generous sprinkling

5. Coconut oil, ghee, or butter: 1/2 cup or so when melted

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Chop up the apples into bite-sized pieces and place them in an oven-safe dish.

3. Add the remaining ingredients in the order listed or as desired, sprinkling and drizzling them over the chopped apples. Take the listed amounts as a starting point. Use the amount that looks good or works for you.

4. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Let cool a bit, and enjoy!
