Love our little breaks to the ocean, the sea makes it all better. I found out that this beach, #Aramoana , means pathway to the sea in #Maori . So here’s the pathway of me quickly running away from the sea so my shoes don’t get wet 😂
We think @ecosaint Sunday’s Inspiration message is worth a share, don’t you?
I must admit I’m always forgetting to byo bags, I’m still in training - however when I see images like this, it’s very confronting. This image breaks my heart 💔#ecosaint#saynotoplasticbags

Tunnel Beach sunset
I went for a walk down to Tunnel Beach the other day. More for getting some drone footage than photos. But the wind was higher than I had anticipated so I didn't want to fly too far away and lose the drone. The sun was setting in the opposite direction so I wasn't really expecting any colour. But it popped out for several minutes anyway!
This is 13 vertical images put together.

🌱Eco-Home🌱Want to go green and help our planet? Try growing your own fruit / veggies / herbs🌿 Connecting with the earth and understanding the seasons and what to grow has helped me slow down in my busy life, getting my hands into the soil is so incredibly grounding. Plus I find it so darn satisfying being able to grab veggies and herbs out of the garden to cook with! 🍽 Even if it’s just a sprinkle of rocket over the home-made pizza, chillies to add to a stir-fry, basil for pesto, or fresh mint to your mojito (pimp your cocktails!). Our garden has been so full one summer we were giving away to the neighbours which is the nicest feeling of abundance 🙌If you’re a gardening virgin, go to your local markets or gardening store and start with the herbs that you use the most in your everyday cooking, like basil or parsley (you simply can’t go wrong!).
What’s in your veggie patch? Or do you have an inkling to start one!?
One of the 44 adorable hobbit holes dug into the hillside, and surrounded by hobbit gardens, orchards, and the pastures of a sheep and cattle farm. Even though I know Hobbiton and the Shire are all man-made and make-believe, I still marvel at how much I loved our day there and how magical everything was. Definitely a fun visit if you’re on the north island in NZ. #hobbiton#northisland#nz
