It’s been a week, in what’s been a year. My pal Sofia showed up after five years apart, I finished exams for the semester, an article of mine made front page of Idealog, I met the Governor General for a scholarship finals and got to feel highly emotional/shadow box in my best heels in front of Government House (the schol didn’t come through but we made great friends so I’m taking it as a winning stride regardless), flew to Auckland for a good boogie/real fruit ice cream with the Auckland fam, and now spending the day at Taekwon-do trials. Tomorrow I fly back home early as anything to start a job I’ve been waiting for since March, and all my jokes about the economy crashing will have to cease for a while. I’m super proud of the week that’s been, because in the end, it was a pushing week of daring to dream, a bouncing week to make way for some reflection and growth, and a thriving week of drinking it all in. I’m really excited to be bringing some new articles to atumblingrosie.com this summer, stemming out of this week and a few others that have been in 2018. If you do give the new layout a look, I’d love to know what you reckon. And lastly - a big massive kia ora to all the fan girls that have been supporting me this past month - it’s been a time and all that’s left now is gratitude. The secret’s in the support crew hey? It’s always in the support crew.
