New york city got its first snow day!! It was cold, slushy and just depressing! All I could think of is get some extra spicy cumin lamb noodles at @xianfoods. I ordered the NS1 which is the hand pulled noodles, drenched in Chilli oil in soup. The spicy Chilli oil is enough to warm my soul! Every bite was just right!
They also have vegetarian and vegan options, which are equally tasty. So, bundle up and head over to @xianfoods
❄️First snow in NYC❄️
The first snowstorm of 2018 in NYC!!
We went to see the Christmas Spectacular in Radio City Music Hall tonight. But, when we got out of Radio City, there was no way into New Jersey due to bridge and tunnel closures.... Multiple car accidents. So, we had to spend several hours in the subway!! My poor girls' feet were frozen. And so, they improvised. And wore their mittens as socks. Bella is freaking out because she's hungry, cold and scared. Ava is trying to be brave for the 3 of us. And so we are spending the night in NYC in hopes that tomorrow is a better day!! Good night ya'll. Just THANKING God that we are finally safe and sound. 🌠❄☃️🌟🌜❄☔
First snow day in New York 🥶🗽❄️ make sure you keep your loved ones closer 🤗☃️🐾🐾 #firstsnow ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
While the snow pictures are pretty, the reality of today was that the city of 8.6 million people (plus how many people communte in from NJ to work)/state failed to be ready for the storm. Forecasted was 1" of snow turning into rain. Last I saw, Central Park already had 6" of snow. The cemetery pics are from 3:45pm in Washington Heights, and still snowing. There were no plows, no salt on the roads, buses didn't have chains on their tires. Judging by film friends' posts on facebook, some commutes were 4 hours, some commutes were 7 hours, but a lot of people are still on the road for over 7 hours. On top of the roads being a mess, MTA, NJ transit, and Port Authority are a huge mess as well. I'm extremely fortunate and thankful that I had the option and took the trains today (I have a small 2 wheel drive car). My 2nd train (boarded at 5pm) was extremely packed, barely having any room to breathe with full body contact. Stay safe if your stuck out there.
Miami is an international city at Florida's southeastern tip. Its Cuban influence is reflected in the cafes and cigar shops that line Calle Ocho in Little Havana. On barrier islands across the turquoise waters of Biscayne Bay is Miami Beach, home to South Beach. This glamorous neighborhood is famed for its colorful art decobuildings, white sand, surfside hotels and trendsetting nightclubs. 🌎🔘🎆....... .. 🌞💢🌟...... ✨⚡... Follow on :-@pmbhatiya
