TOMORROW NIGHT: Gang Gang Dance @ Velvet Underground
It seems like @ganggangdance never really got their due as one of the most original and audacious NYC bands from the ‘aughts, a time when so many genres were fusing together together and exploding out from every neighbourhood in the city. And now they’re one of the longest-running bands from that era too, still sounding like no one but themselves on their brand new LP Kazuashita -- their first in almost seven years, out on 4AD. 🔸️🔷️🔶️🔷️🔸️
This Wednesday, the band is coming through @thevelvetto, with @deakin_joshmin from Animal Collective along as support! This show promises some pretty wild sonic adventures. Doors are at 8, and as usual, you can grab advance tickets at @rotatethis & @soundscapesto.
