Also, anyone know what those pink berries are called? They were a random forage find and I’m obsessed with them!

Hoping to get out to the mountain again for another magical shoot like this! It was such a blast working with @kalahanandsean earlier this year on this project- I am still so in love with these photos!!! 😍
This is the week, I have been looking at it longingly on my calendar for months. The first mellow spot at the end of busy season. I love my job and I thrive under chaos and a packed schedule. Summer wedding season, with its jam packed creative work and crazy hours is satisfying, but there are trade offs, I feel like I have been living on a different plane than my husband for months, whether it be not seeing each other awake for days or just feeling off from one another, I haven’t seen my (non industry) friends in so long, my body is aching for some exercise routine and clean food, or just walks in the garden with the dog. I am so excited to be fully present in my body and at home- to tackle all my little house projects, dig in and give next years couples the attention I haven’t been able to, and play with flowers for the sake of playing oh, and cook all the soups. Anyone else with me?
I've typed and re-typed a caption for this photo. I don't have words for the way the light is hitting Yela in this photo. It's absolutely otherworldly. I remember seeing Kathryn taking these photos in the dark barn and wondering how they would turn out...the result is enchanting. All I can say is this needs to be printed life size and hanging in a gallery of angels. I love it, I hope you enjoy!
Step one: plant perennial garden along sunny fence line. Step two: decide you want annual cutting garden along fence, dig up and move all perennials. Step three: decide you would, after all, rather have perennials along fence line, pull out spent annuals and buy new/more perennials.
Is this what gardening is like forever? #askingforafriend 📷: @audreynormanphoto
We have this sweet friend named Tina and she has always said “I love your flowers and someday when we finally get married you’re doing my wedding” Tina has been there since the beginning- through that summer where I did 10 of our friends weddings with no idea what I was doing and ALL the days of ugly, posted, practice bouquets and yet, through the years, every single time we were together- no matter the occasion, the first thing she would say to me when we arrived at whatever party was “I love your flowers and someday, when we finally get married, you’re doing my wedding” Well folks, yesterday, Tina got married. And frankly, I’m thankful it took them a few years ‘cause she waited long enough to get the good shit. Congrats @tinalikestotalk you and @kmulholland86 had the most beautiful day! It was an honor to be a part of. And thank you for the unwavering support, friends like you are purely the reason I am in business ❤️
Last week was a blur. One of my favorite parts of it was dropping an elopement off to my bride who was getting married in the Cascades. She was so joyful and excited. Her genuine delight of getting married was bubbling up and was radiating from her. It was so fun to see. I can't wait to see photos of her and her wildflower bouquet up in the mountains!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This bouquet was from an awesome elopement in the Hoh Rainforest earlier this summer. Those adventurous brides get me every time! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have been trying to tear apart and flat lay my bouquets more often lately- one because I suck at flat lays so it is good practice, two because I think it is a really good medium to show brides all the different ingredients that come into play in an arrangement (focal flowers aren’t all that matter) and three to show how adding in a touch of color that you hadn’t thought of can go a long way. If I just told someone to add yellow and blue into their blush pallet they would look at me like I was nuts. . . until I show them this! #tweediaforpresident
The last of Saturday’s centerpieces hanging on for dear life in the studio this morning. I woke up and went to my usual 6am barre class then came home and laid on the floor with the dog (she isn’t allowed on the furniture) and proceeded to fall dead asleep for another 5 hours 😂 apparently my body needed some rest. Our couple this weekend was the sweetest, I love the ones that are just so in love. While we were striking at the end of the night, the two of them were waiting for the guests to be organized for the sparkler exit and I look over and they are so in love, champagne drunk, dancing and laughing with each other in the corner of the tent with no one else around. Chris and I both looked at each other from across the tables and smiled because they reminded us so much of us, I so badly wanted to say “it only gets so so much better”
@audreynormanphoto killed this shoot- like murdered it dead. I couldn’t be happier to have my flowers in front of that lovely’s camera. Prepare for some serious spamming. Design/coordination @pacific_engagements

A few days late but I wanted to give a thank you to all who bought flowers for Mother’s Day! The love is real and I feel it! Thanks fam😘 Here is a little bunch of the few bits I had left over, stay tuned for when I chop off all their heads!
This is my mama hugging me just before I went down the aisle. Yesterday, we spent the whole afternoon in my garden helping get it ready to plant. I’m sure she had plenty of other things she could have been doing but instead she was in the dirt helping me. This is the type of mom she is. Whatever project or stage I am at in my life she “gets down in the dirt” right with me. Starting from teaching me as a child to now helping me as I am starting a business and owning a home. She does it with grace, a deep love and a quiet calmness. She is humble, so generous with her life in so many ways and someone I absolutely long to be like. Happy Mother’s Day Mom and all of the other moms out there who are loving their kids in a way only a mom can do! You are awesome!
Photo @noellejohnsun .
DONT FORGET ABOUT YOUR MAMA! Or any special mama, your baby mama, your wants-to-be-a-mama-and-it’s-not-happening-so-fast mama, your dog mama, your mama’s mama, your bearded dragon’s mama! We don’t discriminate and neither should you! We will be popped up at Cafe Pettirosso (@cafepettirosso ) In Capitol Hill Saturday 10am-2pm and Sunday 10am until sellout! Also, don’t be lazy and preorder that ish through the website so you and your mama are guaranteed the good stuff!
After getting an awesome message from my bride yesterday I felt so thankful for what I get to do. Sometimes, I honestly just want to give up and choose something easier than running my own business. But after the push and when the bride loves her flowers... it makes it all worth it. Thanks to all the couples who have let me create for their wedding so far and for the couples I get to create for coming up!
MUA @bohofoxartistry .
I accidentally grabbed the wrong box off the shelf at the Supply Syndicate the other day and ended up with this weird little beezy (and short a centerpiece vase 🤦🏼♀️) I embraced it for weird Wednesday and for showcasing my absolute favorite foxgloves that I cannot get enough of. If anyone would like their Mother’s Day order in this baby just let me know 😁
Normally I am not the biggest fan of purple and it for sure is not the color I gravitate towards when having my say but I had a bride and a planner both request ‘plum’ last month and I actually really loved working in that color sphere, there were so many good Spring blooms to work with. So while I’m not quite on the level with @pantone and ultraviolet- I’m warming, slowly.
It’s a ruff led life. I bought these gems 10 days ago, carted then to a photo shoot and home and then to a wedding and home again. I can really get behind a flower that looks sweet and delicate but is actually a total badass. Also, credit to @seattlewholesalegrowersmarket for supplying us with the best in the biz!
Heading out today to pick up my dear friend @forgetmeknottsak and explore around Rainer and surrounding areas! Then down to PDX for @goodseedfloral workshop while getting to visit my @maijarebeccahanddrawn ! I can’t wait for all the girl time and floral inspiration and new friends! Have a great weekend friends! I’ll leave you with another gem from this weekend’s shoot... which I’m still dreaming on!
This rain keeps coming down but I just keep repeating “April showers bring May flowers”. So excited for those juicy May flowers!
Her earrings and Necklace- @jesdesignstudio
One of those days yesterday where I was completely giddy all day! I am just thrilled on how this styled shoot came out. It’s like what you dream about in fairytales... I can’t wait to share more!

My girlfriends and I spent time cutting out all these flags for the wedding and my mom sewed it all together. The flags now string up and down our hallway in our first home together. Eventually, I want to make a wedding quilt out of all the flags. It’s been really fun to revisit our wedding day with the feature on @junebugweddings . Link is in the profile if you want to check it out!
