We have heaps of left over fruit and veg from last week so I'm juicing for today and put tomorrows into Mason Jars.
The Carrot Recipe one pictured doesn't have the carrots in the photo as I was hiding the fact they are in there from hubby 🤣
He can't taste ATM to know (shhh)
The green juice is only for me as no one else will drink it 😑
How long do you prep juice for I haven't ever done more then 2 days as I worry about fermenting???
Also does anyone have a good dragon fruit juice recipe?

I used to work as a professional in the goldmines in Human Resources pre-kids. I always thought I would remain working in a corporate setting and boy how wrong I was!

As soon as I became a mom I knew I wanted to spend as much time with them as I could and I’m so grateful that I can!

It’s the little things, but to me they are big things waking up with them, taking them swimming, going to the park, taking them to the beach 🏖 .
I love my life and I don’t regret it for a second and every challenge and hiccup in my business has been worth it to see these beautiful smiles every day 💗

One way I get all my fruits and vegg in is through juices. You get may more nutrients from raw ingredients. Tried a new combo today to get a different variety of nutrients in. Not the greatest fan of it but it's drinkable.

You have to understand that when your doing just weightlifting, even if your going for an hour, the amount of calories your burning is so low, you’d have to starve yourself to burn enough calories for weight loss in only doing an anaerobic workout. This is resistance with an aerobic workout. Do 5 reps of 25 with 60 to 90 secs of jump rope immediately after, then rest for 3 minutes and 30 secs, then your back to the next rep!!!! Turmeric Chicken Broth Soup 
Enjoy the wonderful benefits of turmeric paired with vegetables spices and chicken. This soup is immunity boosting and great for recovering from the flu or a cold or just as a simple, moorish, healthy, satisfying low carb meal.

Ingredients: 
1 tsp of tumeric 
1 clove of finely chopped garlic
1 stem of ginger sliced in thick chunks
2 carrots thickly chopped 
2 whole onion quartered 
1 tsp of peppercorns 
1 tsp of cloves 
4 Cardamon
4 pieces cinnamon 
1 chicken cut into curry pieces 
2 tsp Himalayan salt 
6 cups of water
Place all ingredients in a large @kenwoodza Slow Cooker. Switch on the cooker on high and cook for 3 hours. The longer the soup is allowed to cook, the more opportunity there is for the wonderful nutrients to be disseminated into the soup. Once, the meat is falling off the chicken. Either remove the chicken from the pot. De boning the chicken or keep the chicken pieces as is. Correct the seasoning. ( this means basically, taste the soup and see if you would need to add salt or pepper or any other seasonings. 
Made too much? That’s okay. Laddle the soup into mason jars and freeze. It will always be available as a wonderful ,hearty, comfort food!

As an avid writer, I am also an avid reader, & I love these types of books, they are life changing & really allow you to gain new perspectives on situations, self, people & life. I too am writing a book on how I became aware of the false self, childhood programming, limiting mindsets, the ego & how to implement 'the coming of the  other self'; my book title. Why are people addicted to drama in their lives? I struggle with futility & disharmony in relationships, always have, to the point, I remove my self from people's lives if I see/feel them creating negativity & drama. It actually makes my stomach tie up in knots! I used to find it painful people don't try to understand or make sense of their 'lessons' & projections, always trying to blame others & run away from them selves, which is impossible. While I accept the fact, I must be different (because I know I can't lie to my self), I also understand that nothing can heal unless it is vented. I learned from experience, years of education & bettering my self, this is the only way to break free, by being honest with your self & accepting your self fully,
These battles start in falsity, the egoic mind, personal issues or 'lessons' they project on to others, things they won't face or deal with or perhaps don't quite understand yet.
Don't make other people's battles/hate/futility your own, unless you enjoy meaningless battles with the ego, & perhaps jumping on another's bandwagon of hate, you may just be supporting/validating an oppressor & when this happens you have now justified & patted them on the back for their actions & their ego grows, remaining neutral is important, don't become cosumed in situations that aren't your own, you won't be aware of the full context of the situation, this demonstrates immense mental strength & understanding, otherwise no one heals & nothing gets resolved. Today's insights/Reading♡ As an avid writer, I am also an avid reader, & I love these types of books, they are life changing & really allow you to gain new perspectives on situations, self, people & life. I too am writing a book on how I became aware of the false self, childhood programming, limiting mindsets, the ego & how to implement 'the coming of the other self'; my book title. Why are people addicted to drama in their lives? I struggle with futility & disharmony in relationships, always have, to the point, I remove my self from people's lives if I see/feel them creating negativity & drama. It actually makes my stomach tie up in knots! I used to find it painful people don't try to understand or make sense of their 'lessons' & projections, always trying to blame others & run away from them selves, which is impossible. While I accept the fact, I must be different (because I know I can't lie to my self), I also understand that nothing can heal unless it is vented. I learned from experience, years of education & bettering my self, this is the only way to break free, by being honest with your self & accepting your self fully, These battles start in falsity, the egoic mind, personal issues or 'lessons' they project on to others, things they won't face or deal with or perhaps don't quite understand yet. Don't make other people's battles/hate/futility your own, unless you enjoy meaningless battles with the ego, & perhaps jumping on another's bandwagon of hate, you may just be supporting/validating an oppressor & when this happens you have now justified & patted them on the back for their actions & their ego grows, remaining neutral is important, don't become cosumed in situations that aren't your own, you won't be aware of the full context of the situation, this demonstrates immense mental strength & understanding, otherwise no one heals & nothing gets resolved. Loaded with #nutrients and #unique #ingredients. 2. #Soba #soup and veggie #sushi rolls. I work near some amazing #AsianFood and enjoy always trying new #ethnicFoods. 3. We make most of our food at home, and from @traderjoes. This is a bean, rice and cheese fiesta in your mouth. Did you know the number one thing people who live the longest, according to science, have in common? They all eat a lot of beans. 4. Salad with parts that I grew out of my little container garden. Nothing tastes better than what you grow. 5. @vistafarmersmarket92081 food!! All fresh and local. It doesn't get better than anything from this farmer's market. 6. Another amazing salad I had the other day. Added some extra yummy veggies and a few raspberries to balance it out. No dressing needed then. 👍🏻7. @boudinbakery makes some pretty bomb #MillionairesAvocadoToast, #indulgence is good after the 17 #miles I walked on Thursday and Friday. Usually I don't eat red meat but I make exceptions. 8. Last and definitely not least, my #homegrown tomatoes. I #love to just eat them on their own, right off the #vine.

This salad is full of antioxidants, nutrients, and brain food; with fresh red cabbage, rainbow chard, kiwis, walnuts, turmeric, and a side of quinoa and kaniwa.

I made the dressing with some Sauvignon Blanc, garlic, apple cider vinegar, camelina oil - for healthy omega 3 - fresh lime juice, black sesame seeds, turmeric, basil, ground pepper and hymilayan salt.

A big misconception about packing snacks is that it’s hard to do. Prepping healthy snacks for the entire week, or getting them together the night before is a good idea. It can literally take 5 minutes (you can can get the whole family involved!) and it will help you to eat more nutrient dense foods throughout the week. Win win😉

🍓Berries with almond butter (blueberries are my favourite 😋)
🍓Coconut yogurt + berries + nuts/seeds + cinnamon .
🍓Cut up veggies like cucumber, celery, radishes, carrots, peppers, etc. + dip .
🍓Smoked salmon (all sockeye salmon in Canada is wild and Superstore sells frozen sockeye salmon)
🍓Hard boiled eggs + cherry tomatoes. Add 1/2 an avocado 🥑 to make it a super hearty snack
🍓Nuts/seeds + berries
🍓Olives + nuts .
🍓Canned salmon eaten with an avocado or shredded lettuce .
🍓Lettuce wraps made with leftovers meats, fish, avocado, shredded veggies, or other fixings

Lightly sauté with some garlic, toasted sesame seeds and dash of tamari or coconut aminos.

Use as a side or add to a veggie or meat based bone broth. Perfect winter style meal, not to mention FULL of tummy lovin fibre and minerals.

HOW TO MAKE IT⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* Ingredients⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 tsp palm sugar or coconut sugar⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 tablespoon fish sauce⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 garlic cloves, minced⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3 snake beans(long green beans), cut to an inch per piece⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2 cups of green papaya, peeled, halved, seeded & grinded⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
