“Comparison is the death of all joy, and the only person you need to be better than is the one you were yesterday” ~ Rachel Hollis ~
Have you ever tried to compare yourself to others? Think something like oh I wish I was as pretty as them? Or maybe one day I can be something as great as they are? GIRL you are great, you’re amazing, you’re you! Stop trying to compare yourself to others because you’re worthy and perfect just the way you are. Don’t you ever forget that! ❤️

Morocco: Love in Times of War (original Spanish title: Tiempos de guerra) is a medical/war drama set in 1920’s Melilla, Morocco. I’ve never been into medical TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy or Scrubs (although House and Nurse Jackie are pretty damn good) but this Netflix series has gotten me hooked. I’m starting nursing school with ZERO medical training prior and I thought getting into some med shows might help get me more excited rather than completely scared and nervous. 😳 This show is great so far. It’s originally in Catalan/European Spanish but there’s also English and Portuguese options as well. I’m in love with foreign language so I prefer to hear original versions of things (and think they sound better anyways 😎). It’s especially intriguing because it centers around the nurses working in the battlefield hospital and everything from their love lives to their medical skill insecurities and own personal grievances and triumphs. The soldiers are also important characters and actually share more in common with the nurses because they are sacrificing their lives on the field in the war, while the nurses are in the hospital making sure they do everything they can to heal the sick and wounded. #nursingstudents give it a watch. #nurses#medicine#netflix
My heart skips a beat when I hear answers like this during interviews:
“I’m very proud of being a caregiver. My mom always told me that the best achievement that you can have in life is to have an impact on other people’s lives.”
