Except cauliflower is a substitute for cellulite and carbs are enjoying bread and pasta. You only live once. And I can’t believe this is my last year in my decade of my 30’s?!! Inside I feel like I’m still in my 20’s. So remember age is just a #. Enjoy your time cherishing memories made and filled with happiness and laughter. Surround yourself with people that are genuine and love you and want the best for you. Don’t fixate on negativity bc that is easy to do. Just live your life every day like it might be your last. Don’t think too hard and too far ahead. Have faith and know you will achieve and deserve the best. But u have to love yourself first.
Morning morning 😛 another amazing week done and it’s finally the weekend! Had 2 long days of clinicals this last week learning lots of skills and getting to know patients at our mental health rotation. OH and we also had our first medsurg exam too!
As hectic of a week as it’s been, I always like to take a moment at the end of each day to remind myself how freaking AMAZING this opportunity is. I’m going to be a nurse in a little over a year! This time last year, after being rejected left and right, I remember going to bed many times feeling defeated, crying because I felt like such a failure. I NEVER imagined life could be as great as it is now.
So yeah, there will be good weeks and bad weeks. There will be good days and bad days. But I’m here. I’m actually in nursing school. As someone that graduated with a laughable GPA during my undergrad, I put in the hard work and made it. All we need is ONE school to give us a chance. Then it’s all up to us and what we make of it so make something good out of yourself and this beautiful beautiful opportunity ♡

Had to start my week 7 a day early since I’m trying to get better rests before my workout instead of going everyday after work. Today felt so-so. Probs because of Thursday night hangout that lead to ending it Friday. I’ve been awake since 1am since my sleeping schedule is messed up again.
