Hehehee🤪 I don't do Keto but I loved the color and I know ALOT of people that do Keto...but I can relate. I do the blood type diet and I am gluten free so NO WHEAT OR CORN and we had a flour tortilla today!!! Ughhh... Immediate regret! Migraine and stomach punch! 👊
Flashback to a few weeks ago when I visited California. Very short visit to go to a concert on the beach. Had time to go to this really nice seafood spot, The Bluewater Grill (@bluewatergrill_ ) on Balboa Island in Newport Beach. The meatless and wheatless menu sections tell you what you can have. The downside is pretty much seasoning is out besides salt, pepper and butter. The upside is you can get the french fries, I chose not to since I had @innout earlier that day. The Alaskan Grouper was really good and the view was warm, sunny and relaxing. I would come back even if just for the view, but would love to see them expand a bit on the menu.
I just want to say thanks to @livefreeca for giving me their first prototype of these gluten free stickers! #livefree#canada is a company founded by my good friend and he sister to create a community for gluten free (whether it’s celiac or gluten intolerant) individuals. I bake a lot of goodies filled with gluten but I also bake a lot of gluten free and dairy free desserts/breakfast baking as well. Some of you may already know but i’m gluten and lactose intolerant. There’s always a lot of skeptics about those who have intolerances because yes we can have minimal amounts (as in a few bites) of gluten or dairy, but any more than that causes issues. Not everyone takes people like me seriously because it’s technically not an allergy, but yes it is a real thing. (I have been tested by my doctor) If I plan on having a couple slices of pizza or a slice of cheesecake or whatever it may be, I can take pills that reduce or eliminate any symptoms, depending on how much I have. Live Free Canada is new, but i’m already obsessed with it. I love finding new recipes for GF baking or new restaurants to try! BREAKFAST FOR DINNER 🍳🥓! First time making quiche without a boat load of cheese (didn’t use any!). Crust: thinly sliced sweet potato spread across pie pan. Cook in oven 375 for 20 minutes. Sauté some onions and mushrooms with garlic. Separate bowl 5 eggs 1/2 cup GF breadcrumbs (I used Aldi’s brand). Throw onions and mushrooms in the bowl with egg and breadcrumbs. Remove the potatoes, place spinach across them and pour over egg mixture. Cook for about 20-25 minutes. It’s topped with an avocado cream. 1 avocado, little cashew yogurt, garlic, crushed red pepper, salt and pepper (this was so effing good). #breakfastfordinner#bacon
