Yesterday I did a poll on my IG stories about routine. My question was: How do you relate to routine? Do you thrive on routine or does it make you feel restricted? The results were 86% for routine, 14% against having a routine. 
There is no right or wrong answer. We are all different therefore different things work for different people.
I wanted to share with you few more thoughts about having a healthy relationship with routine (if you are into routines):
💭Choosing few ‘non-negotiables’ you love and enjoy (self care vs. self judgement).
💭At the same time not aiming for perfection. Letting go of ‘black or white’ approach..
💭Being flexible with your routines, leaving enough space to listen to your body, mood & energy.
💭Your routine is YOURS, you choose how you want it to look and feel like. Choosing your routines based on your ‘wants’ vs. ‘shoulds’.
💭Having routines doesn’t mean over planning. ‘Plan’ to leave space for spontaneity, for things to unfold organically. For example I do like planning my working days cause this is how I get things done, but I tend to minimize my planning for weekends and holidays. I love my Mon-Fri regular morning routine and on Sunday I love waking up with no alarm, no plans and stay in my pajamas all day (if that’s what I feel like).
💭What happens if you swap the word routine with ritual? Does it feel less restrictive? One of my clients once said “rituals are like routines with intention”. With the holidays right around the corner I can’t wait to whip up some fun stuffs for the fam and be more active on here. But just trying to enjoy my last semester of undergrad is my main focus rn 😊 .

I Sweet potato breakfast bowl to change from having a bowl of oats everyday 🍠🧡! Made with blending one large roasted sweet potato, 1/2 cup of soy milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1 tbsp hemp seeds, topped with unsweetened soy yoghurt, blueberries, pumpkin seeds, cacao nibs and crunchy peanut butter 🧡. I hope you’re having a brilliant Friday ☺️! Enjoy and remember to relax this weekend ❤️. .

Snow days have taken on a whole new meaning. ❄️ Spent 15 minutes putting on ALL of the snow gear yesterday afternoon, to enjoy 15 minutes in the snow. And then the kids were all, “okay I’m done, time for hot chocolate.” This season with them is so FULL and so fun. ☃️ #momlife

Currently sitting by the window with this breakfast quesadilla, trying to get some light because our power is out🙃 But hey at least the stove still works! @choosing_balance made a breakfast quesadilla the other day and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since, so I had to make one! I used @sietefoods cashew flour tortillas, sautéed orange pepper, onion and mushrooms, 1 scrambled egg, and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese! Warm all that up on a skillet and serve it with some salsa and maybe a little sour cream! Such a simple breakfast but it feels kind of fancy🤗

Collagen Cacao Truffles 🍫 because it’s Friday before a short week 🎉 Recipe adapted from @nutritiouslifeofficial Chocolate Protein Balls to include one of my favorite add-ins — CACAO — see my post from yesterday about all things cacao!

#dEATS to make these easy sweet treats:
1 cup dates, pitted
1/2 cup @ancientnutrition chocolate collagen 
2 tbsp @thrivemarket cacao powder + more for coating
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp almond butter
2 1/2 tbsp almond milk
//Blend dates in a food processor first. Then add the rest of the ingredients until well combined. Roll into bite-size balls. On a plate, add a few spoonfuls of cacao powder & roll each ball to coat [this will make them less sticky] — I stored mine in the freezer to grab-n-go when the sweet tooth is REAL! 😍

Here’s my daily routine to ensure I’m nourishing my body the right way ✅ at least 100 oz of water ✅ 7-8 hours sleep
✅ fruits or veggies at every meal
✅ whole grains throughout the day (oats, five grain rice, sweet potatoes etc) ✅ microfactor each morning (packed up with a probiotic, antioxidant, CoQ10, essential fatty acid, fruit and veggie and a multi) ✅ opti greens 50 once a day (organic grasses jam packed with probiotics and digestive enzymes)
All of this has improved my health dramatically! I’ve noticed such a change in my energy, skin, hair and immune system. Listen to your body and give it what it needs!

{THANKSGIVING COUNTDOWN RECIPE} Much love for mashed potatoes and all, but if you've got health issues, like diabetes and other sugar issues at your table this year... offering up some delicious mashed CAULIFLOWER is a perfect swap especially doused in delicious herbed mushroom gravy and ghee (they won't miss the potatoes, or the extra blood sugar spike... promise)! And if you're enjoying some delicious homemade dessert, I'd rather save the sweets for that and keep to nourishing and nutrient dense foods all day long without the crash. ~
Ingredients
2 heads cauliflower
2 cups water
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 Bunch of fresh chives for topping
pinch of sea salt and pepper (omit for AIP) to taste
Instructions
1. Cut cauliflower into florets and rinse off any dirt.
2. Bring water to boil in a large pot and use a steaming rack for the top where you’ll place the cauliflower.
3. Once the water is boiling, toss the cauliflower in a steam rack and cover. Let the florets steam until tender and you can easily pierce with a fork (but they’re not falling apart), approx. 7-8 minutes or so.
4. Once ready, remove the rack and give it a good shake over your pot. Turn the heat off and place the cauliflower in a large mixing bowl or dry pot. Try not to let any excess moisture in (the less the better). Let it dry for a while (I let it sit under the stovetop fan to be extra careful).
5. Now, add your olive oil, sea salt and pepper to taste over top. Using a masher, first mash up the cauliflower a bit by hand. Then whip out the hand blender (or you can toss the mixture into a blender) and pulse until smooth, don’t over-do it or it will become too loose and watery.
6. Transfer the pureé to a serving dish and top with fresh chives and sea salt if needed. Serve with mushroom gravy or with more olive oil!

INGREDIENTS
.
- 1 lb. carrots
- 1-2 Tbsp cooking fat (ghee or coconut oil)
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp. tahini
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar or lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. Bonafide Bone Broth
- 2 Tbsp. coconut aminos
- 2 Tbsp. ginger, minced
- 3 tsp. garlic, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
.
DIRECTIONS
.
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Place your carrots on the baking sheet in a single layer.
4. Brush the cooking fat over the carrots evenly.
5. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes.
7. While the carrots are cooking, whisk or blend all of the dressing ingredients together.
8. Remove the carrots from the oven and top with ginger tahini dressing.
**There will be extra tahini sauce which would make a
great salad dressing. ||

The beauty of being sad..... I am feeling very sad right in this present moment. 
I left Berlin to stay a few couple more days with my family in Cologne before going back to Bali next Monday.

I was living in Thailand beginng April till the end of September. I decided to visit home 6,5 weeks to check in with my family, friends and focusing on my business. Even a part of me wanted to stay on the island so much, my intuition was very strong that guided me to Berlin for a little while.

The day I left the island I was very sad about leaving behind beautiful connections that I have made. People that deeply touched my heart. Already by then I could consciously tune into my huge appreciation for that feeling. Sadness for me is a powerful emotion that I am allowing myself to feel!

I believe that we are here on earth to make all possible human experiences and then all emotions suddenly become very close. Joy, happiness, sadness, excitement, love, pain .... these are all expressions of an open heart and they are all coming together. 
If we don’t allow ourselves to feel pain or sadness we will never feel deep love.

Today I am feeling the same sadness like the day I left the island 6 weeks ago. I am using the sadness as a powersource that is pushing me straight into the feeling of appreciation. My gateway to LOVE. 
I am honored to live a life where I am feeling so much sadness when leaving the places where I have been to!

Let me tell you about my favorite oil and why. 
Oh Joy. This oil does what it says, brings me joy. When I’m having a “mama freak out moment,” I reach for joy. 
Not only does it support emotions, but it also supports heart health. This blend has ylang ylang in it, which is know for supporting your heart and helping to lower hypertension, which is why I put it over my heart every day at LEAST once. I used this oil every day during my last pregnancy to support my heart from going where it went in my first pregnancy, preeclampsia.
ALSO, and the most important part of this post is that it carries a pretty high frequency. 
You see, we all as humans have a normal resting frequency, aka our energy level. Our frequencies directly affect how we feel physically, how we feel emotionally, and our immunity. When our frequencies start to dip we become susceptible to things like the flu, even lower, cancer, and so on. Things we do and consume make our frequencies go lower or higher. For instance drinking a cup of coffee drops your frequency 14 points, but praying raises it 15. Negative thoughts, negative 12, but positive thoughts, plus 10!! A normal persons frequency is between 68 and 72. Joy packs a frequency of 188! So, when I want to enjoy a cup of coffee or I’m battling away some negative thoughts, I reach for joy. I love science! I LOVE this oil! Also, it smells like a bouquet. 💁‍♀️You gotta get with this!

Amo experimentar con nuevos saboresss😂😏 estas quedaron ricas aunque no entran en mis favoritas, pero el durazno es como el plátano, funciona como endulzante natural😍👏🏼

OVERNIGHT OATS DE FRAMBUESA-DURAZNO
🍑Primero en un bowl puse:
-¾ taza de avena
-½ taza de agua
-½ taza de leche
-1 cdta de esencia de vainilla
-un poco de endulzante líquido
-unas frambuesas congeladas
-2 cdtas de pulpa de frambuesa congelada
-¼ de durazno en trozos
🍑Lo mezclé y lo puse al microondas unos minutos hasta que la avena creció y estuvo super espesa (más que el porridge normal). Dejé enfriar un poco y después lo puse en el frasco, además le agregué:
-1/3 taza de leche
-el ¾ de durazno en trozos que quedaba
🍑Lo revolví bien y lo dejé en el refrigerador toda la noche. En la mañana volví a mezclar y le puse
-4 almendras
Quedó súper rico y fresquito aunque me dio un poco de frío jajaja pero cada día amo más las overnight oats❤❤

dEATS: Into a bowl, add diced silken tofu & cover w/ crushed garlic, sliced green peppers, spinach, mushrooms, splash of rice vinegar, teriyaki sauce, 1 tbsp of honey 🍯 + chilli flakes 🌶 ginger & ground pepper. Cover the bowl with  cling film and refrigerate for 30mins. Fry the marinated tofu into a wok pan, until it gets crispy & has soaked up all the marinade. Top w/ black sesame seeds + serve with steamed rice 🍚 Enjoy!
