With impressive views like this, Sognefjord — the largest and deepest fjord in all of Norway — is well worth the 6-hour trek from Oslo. Beautiful photo captured by @erol_is! Tag your photos #spotoftheday and we’ll keep on featuring our favorites 💫

Northern Norway’s winter light is pure magic; crisp, blue-ish hues filling the sky with fantastical atmosphere.
To bring this scene to life, I used good ol’ trusty @lightroom, which gave this image life.
If you check my Stories, you’ll find a mini tutorial using the Lightroom CC mobile app - inc. my favourite feature, the adjustment brush!
There’s also a 16% off code in there, plus in my bio :) #AdobeLightroom
Running towards the weekend!
I’ve been struggling with photographing lately and I have no new pictures to upload... The days are getting shorter, all the beautiful colors of fall is gone and everything is just grey and wet. I have this beautiful image in my mind of the dogs and the Aurora, but I’m scared of the dark so it’s difficult to get. I guess it will go better when I get used to the dark 🌌
Spice up your meal 💙
A great number of unique #herbs can be found in the Arctic. Oregano, caraway, juniper, meadowsweet as well as numerous food-herbs such as chives, sorrel, or angelica have all been used by generations of Arctic cooks and homesteaders.
As a matter of fact, many of these herbs were actively cultivated by farmers and other country people when the Hegelund clan began establishing itself in the region in the 17th century.
The Hegelunds have always been proud of the spices and herb-blends that were, and still are, developed in the family’s kitchens. All the products available today are based on an authentic family tradition.

The sun is about to disappear completely here in northern Norway, and I will experience my first ever polar nights.
We call it 'mørketid' in Norwegian, loosely translated to 'dark times'. I'm hoping that I'll handle the darkness well, but if anyone has any good tips on how to deal with the lack of daylight, it's much appreciated!
The best thing about the dark time in Tromsø, is actually that it’s never completely dark 🤩 Now we just need the snow to brighten the areas surrounding the city ❄️ Many thanks to @pictureyourlife.at for sharing this with us 📸😍
