ADVENT CALENDAR: DAY 11. Behind door 11 is a delightful sight at night. I’ve you’ve ever seen the northern lights you’ll probably agree they are breathtaking. December 11th, 1719 is the first known recording of the northern lights. If you haven’t seen them, be sure to put this on your bucket list. #adventcalendar#December#aroraborealis#northernlights#nightsky
This is the first ever Photoshop edit I created earlier this year. It’s probably still my favourite even though I knew nothing when I made it and know so much more now. Relatively, I still know close to nada 😂 Learning is fun, and agonizing...but it’s nice when you end up with something you like.
Witnessing the #aurora during my roadtrip in Iceland was one of my favorite moments of the year - a true spectacle! If you ever get the chance to see the northern lights, you will agree.

Jangan biarkan diriku terus menerus dihempas insekuritas.
Jangan biarkan pilu selalu datang menghampiri.
Diriku berharga. —calumiaa
Aku selamat, dan diselamatkan.
My lovely boyfriend got me a mini Christmas tree 😍 my challenge now is to keep it alive...
As Christmas approaches I'm so looking forward to having 2 weeks off; hoping I'll be able to start as well as finish this famed trilogy!
Finally some of the photos from our 3rd viewing of the lights, the best and brightest!
We first saw them flying into Tromso when Mark casually mentioned “look out there” as we were descending from his window seat. I looked expecting to see the city lights NOT the northern lights given his calm tone which lead to me then clambering over him mid descent to see them fully!
Second viewing was a few hours later when we got to Tromso and sat down to dinner. Our waiter took our order then suggested we go outside as the lights were out above the restaurant!
Third viewing was the super star viewing (so far 😋). We had a tour recommended to us - thanks Liv and Amanda - and instinctively I decided we should go Monday night. The forecast was ok, nothing over the top but Mama Nature delivered and some!
Pics below are from our tour guide as I still haven’t found an SD card reader to upload mine 🤷🏼♀️ I HIGHLY recommend Brynjar from Arctic Breeze if you want a Northern Lights tour thats not pricey for the unnecessary bells and whistles but rather is a local who knows his stuff and is super passionate about giving you the best experience! His enthusiasm was contagious and made this moment even more enjoyable.
