Y’allllllllllll the sweetest get well care package arrived on my front porch this morning from @natureswaybrands 💚📦🤩🍃 They heard I was down with the flu & sent me a #PassOnTheRemedy kit full of cold weather items including items hand picked from the Midwest - where they’re based! Check out all the goodies I got in my insta stories! Thank you so much Nature’s Way! After a crummy week 🤒, you made my day! ☺️ #TrustTheLeaf#MidwestBest#Midwesty#influencer
So much love for this girl... and this tree (again!) 😍😍
💭A night of dedicating time to what matters... learning, growing and developing as performers and as a business. What else would Monday’s be for 🤔💪 .

Yesterday I finished my last finals week of probably my entire life 🤯
In just ONE year I will be walking across a stage accepting a degree that has been MANY years and blind turns in the making. I did not know 5 years ago that this is what I wanted. What I did know was that I wanted to be in LOVE with my life and with my career. So I keep searching and folks... I am in freaking LOVE!
If you haven't found love, keep going. I can tell you that finding a career I could love felt hopeless for the longest time. I promise you I dipped my toes in many of them; Air Force officer, surgical tech, criminology, personal training, sign language interpreter, physical therapy, medical school... I even considered the offer I got to train to become a NYC firefighter.
Jaylene Bair, DC coming to the #Boston area in early 2020. ❤ I will be ready to serve you and your family #Bostonians !

Auroras over mine shaft. This is a scan of one of my few prints I ever made. It's a shitty kodak kiosk print I made at the Yellowknife walmart. Pardon the scratches/folds in the scan.
I lived here when I was 18-19. I did a lot of aurora photography at the time and I think it's a testament you don't need pro grade gear to get the job done. 20$ tripod and consumer-grade Nikon D3100 I still shoot with to this day. It's not terribly difficult to photograph them as long as you can set a long exposure time.
Yellowknife is a place pretty dominated by its identity of being a mining town and of being a hardy northern place. I would go out in -60 Celsius for this; freezing my ass off and watching for foxes and wolves. It's true what they say about auroras; they dance in the sky and it never gets old to see a big aurora storm. They'd be pretty common too; you see weak ones quite often on a clear night.
