Cabin series: Harv-Ella
So basically I’ve got a lot of memories in these cabins from camp so I thought a series of them to go with would be cool. Starting with Harv-Ella, I only remember having a blast in this cabin. Summer of 2010 and 2014 I can remember clearly the counselors who truly gave of themselves to be there as mentors and confidants. It’s a big reason I became a counselor myself, and continuously to this day look back to the example they set as people who invest themselves in the lives of their campers. #CMOL
Left or right? What’s your vibe today? I could see myself sitting on either stoop with a nice cuppa ☺️

Mount Beacon was named after the signal fire that was constructed and maintained on its summit. It was intended to warn locals of incoming British troops on the Hudson River, a waterway that was strategically vital to both sides. As it turns out, no such warning was ever necessary and the fire -- or "beacon" -- was never lit.
