Perfection. Nothing can be built on it and is one of the biggest illusions of the mind. At the same time it is a great thing to strive for to get to the next level.
So look for it, but don't look to make it an end in itself.
This will bring much freedom and fun in doing the things we love without the pressure of it coming to an end or being just "perfect" 🙌🏻👌🏻
Working out everyday and being perfect with your nutrition is the only way to reach your goals, right??? WRONG!
And what I LOVE about this past program was that it opened our eyes to seeing firsthand, that this is not the case. Jennifer being proof of this!
While she is down 8lbs and 5 inches, it was more of her mindset that made the biggest shift.
She came into this program not aiming for perfection, but for a realistic change. Since she knows that perfection is not maintainable, she cut that stress out and focused on making this a true lifestyle.
She is a super active band mom, so her summer was busy. She went camping for a week with her family. She took multiple trips to Cedar Point, among all the other family summer fun. She enjoyed slurpees, chips, and other treats.
But she also committed to getting in her 4 workouts a week and eating mostly on track. And she STILL got results. Results she can maintain, without the stress of taking on some crazy workout and nutrition plan for the rest of her life, just to lose the results a week later when she went back to her "normal" eating.
So can we all give Jennifer a shout-out? A virtual high five, fist bump, or some good ole love, for proving what we've said time and time again - getting active on most days and eating balanced meals without depriving CAN get results!
Don’t wait for Perfection 💗
There is no such thing!
Go for it - You Be You! Don't wait for the perfect moment. Take the moment and make it perfect. 💖💖💖
Don't wait for the 'right time' because it never comes. Just go ahead and do it NOW!
