Never look down on yourself, i see a lot of daily examples on people which usually female still see that their body isnt perfect yet, there is still so many parts of their body that need improvement which from i see her body actually super good if we saw it from their condition and current situation. We live in a digital world which its super easy to comparing ourselves to other people which i can say we dug our own graves. We have differences which makes us unique one of the other. Happiness is come from the inside, start with accepting yourself(without guilt, remorse) and start to achieve our best, define our own standard and live with our own code. One thing that why “context” is matter. Its about whats the best suited for the individuals, its a back squat is needed for building a good legs? I know that people who dont do back barbell squat and have a great legs, but of course it always comes into a context cause people have different perception and goals.

👨🏻‍⚕️👩🏼‍⚕️We’re all built differently and so are our hips. Whether someone has a deeper hip socket, the angle of the femur is different, or how the femur sits can vary. Just because you sumo deadlift doesn’t mean everyone should or can sumo deadlift.
There’s options.
Not only can hip anatomy matter for squatting it also can matter for deadlifting.

👀Take a look at these different hips, more specifically the femoral necks. Different necks, hip structures, limb lengths can all determine which stance is the strongest and most comfortable.

Now unfortunately unless you get an x ray to determine what your femoral neck looks like, it’s hard to tell which deadlift or squat is the best for you.

While this is great from a couple of our nutritional programs, real greatness lies in the sustainability of such results.  It’s not hard to find diet success stories on Insta.  You see diets that are paleo, vegan, keto, cleansing, raw, macrobiotic, etc., etc., helping people lose weight, improve how they feel, lower this number and that number... How is that possible?

Most “diets” will have you eliminating or minimizing the junk food in your diet and paying more attention to what you’re putting in your mouth.  Take out processed foods, fast foods, sugar, soda, alcohol (which most diets do to a large degree), and you’re probably getting good results right there.  So what’s best long-term?
.
Nutrition science and health is rarely binary and it’s ever changing.  What’s good today is bad tomorrow, and there’s a lot of grey areas.  That’s why it’s important to listen to your body, be flexible with your views on nutrition, and take a holistic approach.
.
Initial or short-term results can be great.  Certainly it’s motivating.  But, if you begin to not feel as well as you had (i.e., energy seems low, not recovering quickly from exercise, have food cravings, mood swings, illness), don’t be afraid to look into changing your diet.
.
We’re ever changing as our environment changes, stress levels change, physical and mental well-being changes... This and more can affect your body’s requirements for certain foods/nutrients.  Your genetics affect these requirements too, which, if you look at people around you you’ll quickly see we’re all quite unique. Don’t just choose the diet that’s “in style” at the time or the one that you think you’re “supposed” to follow. You should base your diet on the foods that make you feel AMAZING! Your optimum diet should literally make you feel like a fuckin’ SUPERHERO!!! ⠀

Now, finding your optimum diet isn’t always easy. It can take a lot of trial and error, but it’s well worth it. I don’t recommend any particular way for people to eat because there truly is no “one size fit all,” but once you find your ideal diet you will know it because of the way it makes you FEEL. ⠀
The exception is the first 2-4 weeks of new diet. During this adaption phase, you may experience some “detox” effects, like headaches, lethargy, mental fog, etc. This is normal. But, if your not feeling and performing better by the second month, you probably need to re-evaluate things. That may mean refining the diet or trying something altogether different. ⠀

There are so many diet options around these days, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, keto... and more. While I believe there are certain health rules we should all live by (the key one being that you eat REAL whole foods) we all need to experiment and listen to our bodies to learn what we should (or shouldn't) be eating. 
I'm not perfect at it, I'm still learning. You won't believe the number of times I've thought it would be a good idea to do a cleanse and had it not go well because I was listening to my head (or I saw someone else doing it 🤦‍♀️) and not my body.
So why the photo of my lunch? (chicken and ginger congee - if you want to know 😉) Today I was good at listening to my body, I knew this meal was the right choice the second I took my first mouthful. Now I won't make the right choice everyday but I'm improving all the time. So my advice for you today is to start getting in tune with what your body needs - when you eat something how do you feel? Start paying attention and you'll start making better choices x

As I watch the challengers in my groups, one common thing we ALL struggle with is having enough time to cook healthy!  So I have made it my mission right now to add one healthy no bake meal to our menu each week!  Then I can keep a file for my challengers!  I am crazy creative and calling it No Bake Meals! 😂😂 As I have gotten into my mid-40’s, I have noticed my body doesn’t tolerate carbs as well later in the day!  I definitely still need them for energy and nutrients but I place them earlier in the day!  If that bothers you, you could always add some rice to this meal!! One of the most challenging but amazing things about coaching is that we are all different!  No One Size Fits All!! What works for me might not work for you! You wouldn’t build an igloo out of ice in a dessert. You can draw out the blueprint, you can try and build it exactly the same as they do in the snow and sub zero temperatures...you can do everything perfectly, exactly as they did in the snow and ice and the damn thing will melt...in fact, you wouldn’t even get the ice to form long enough. Why is that? Seems like a really simple answer...like “Jenn, come on...different environments etc” 
WHY ARE YOU ASKING SUCH A RIDICULOUS QUESTION?
Given that we are all walking around with slightly different “environments” WHY is the diet industry so hell bent on creating ONE diet for all? The blueprint is there, I get it...you see it on paper and it looks like it’s the perfect plan but with no consideration for the environment it seems like a recipe for failure/frustration... we are all unique, albeit it only slightly. But the artic and the dessert exist on the same planet too and we know that doesn’t mean they share the same properties. Trust me when I say...if there was one blueprint, one diet, that I could prescribe to all my clients (men, women, children...) I would do it. It would make my job so much easier...but it’s not that simple. Keto, Paleo, intermittent fasting, etc all have their place in the world but the right and perfect nutrition program for YOU may look vastly different than the next persons. .

Hips are very unique.❄ Your hip joint is most likely not the same as your favorite lifter or Instagram flexy person. Hip sockets vary in shape, depth & orientation. The neck of the femur can be both angled & rotated differently.

😩 That's a lot to digest but I hope it gets the point across. We're not all built the same. So for tonight, let's just look at the rotation part, known as Anteversion & Retroversion.

Anteversion is when you have a narrower angle between the femoral neck & the rest for the femur. It's anatomy gives more internal rotation & less external. In order to normalize the hip position, the person may toe in or create a 🐤 pigeon toe posture. And because they have limited external rotation, a narrower base in squats & deadlifts will be often be preferred.

Retroversion is the opposite. There is more external rotation & less internal. The toes may spin out, creating a duck foot posture. And they will favor a wider base or more toe turn in squats & deadlifts.
.
It's beneficial to know which hip type you are as you don't want to stretch into anatomical limits 🙅.

This is why there is no quick fix. This is why it takes weeks that transform into a life long lifestyle of full body positive habits that make the changes last. .
