Beautiful morning for a run!
Hoping to build up to 30s within the next month here. 
And GOOD MORNING. I never work out in the mornings on weekdays because I start school at 7, but since I’m traveling today I was able to get a good pre flight pump in. Also burning calories and getting your heart rate up is a lot harder on travel days so I needed to do something active this morning. 
Also these shoulder presses are turning into one of my favorite upper body movements. I was so happy I was able to get to 12 on my first set. Anyways hope everyone has a great day!

I recently had a discussion with somebody on Instagram. He criticized a comment I made. All prejudices about vegans were mentioned in his arguments. If you explain them how having a vegan lifestyle has a positive impact on your health and environment and above all is good for ethical reason, most of the meat and Dairy consumers come with: ‚well but all vegans I know, land in the hospital because of health defects‘  or ‚most of them can’t even open a bottle and look like a stick, you need animal proteins to build muscle‘ and if you keep on refuting their arguments ‚ of course they have studied nutritional science or are working in the food industry, therefor they know what they are talking about…

Well, here are some of the worlds elite athletes who are vegans and obviously aren’t skinny as a stick, weak, can’t open a bottle, or have any kind of shortages.

I guess, the meat and dairy/food industry did a good job by brainwashing people, so people still think ‚old-fashioned‘ way.

I wanted to test the accuracy of my Garmin’s “Indoor Run” setting against the treadmill. It’s pretty close — watch reads 1 mi and *i think* the treadmill read 1.05 mi. A little morning plant based motivation from my trip to the pumpkin patch last night 🐮
I am WAY out of my comfort zone right now, but this is really me behind closed doors. I stopped going to gyms a couple years ago because I realized I could save so much time working out at home. I have adjustable weights, resistance bands, a kettle ball, barbells, sliders, an unlimited Beachbody library the great outdoors for running and hiking, and DISCIPLINE. This has saved me so much time I could have wasted driving to/from the gym, socializing at the gym, waiting for machines and picking out cute clothes to wear in public. And btw I would never wear this in a public gym, I’m usually in a tank top and leggings all covered up. I do take classes once in a while, I really miss boxing and kickboxing so I can see myself doing that again but yea, first thing in the morning, it’s meditation, dance practice and THIS. I could improve my diet and get the results a lot faster, in fact I think diet is where 80% of where your results come from. Working on it. This is the first time I’ve captured me working out and boy do I have a long way to go! This also shows me where I need to improve my form (what’s up with my right shoulder btw?). These are just some of my faves for the arms. You dont have to superset them, but i always like to keep it efficient, intense and feel it burrrning🔥 (btw im on my knees cause the machine was too low for me to stand🙃)

If you want REAL results, you gotta put in REAL effort. In my case that involves phycho faces and weird sounds (there’s a reason why i put music on my videos)😌

I love being back in Denver, seeing the leaves change, feeling the air get cooler, and making ALL the pumpkin and butternut squash recipes that warm you from the inside out! Following up on yesterday's post about the mushroom risotto, here's one lovely Fall🍁🍂🍁🍂 meal it then became a part of!  I stuffed it into a roasted Acorn squash, and had some roasted Butternut squash on a bed of wilted spinach🌿 on the side. Remember when you were learning to ride your bike without your training wheels? 🚲

The first time your mom or dad let go of the back of your seat and you tumbled to one side you probably got up, pouting, kicked the bike and shouted, "I'M NEVER GOING TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS." ➡️ What did your parents say back?

They probably said something like, You just have to get back on again and keep trying. I'll be holding the back of your seat again, don't worry. 
So you jumped back on, probably fell a few more times, but eventually you did it! You stayed upright on those two wheels like a champ! But whst would've happened if you wouldn't have ever tried again after that first fall? 
You never would've learned to ride a bike! You'd be some weirdo adult out there riding around with training wheels still attached to your mountain bike!

I like to think of myself as a hope-giver when it comes to my role as a coach. Oftentimes my clients come to me not knowing what to do to conquer this new task.... So I'm there to hold the back of the bike, aka hold their hand a little bit and give them the necessary tools to accomplish their goals!

Its still up to them to get back on the bike if they fall off, but I'll be there, again, to support them through those beginning stages! The ones who never give up and keep trying repeatedly - they eventually start moving without so much assistance! Then they find themselves riding for fun, riding with groups of people, baybe even teaching someomme else to ride too.

If you give up when you fall you'll never learn anything. Success comes from getting up REPEATEDLY after the fall!

The social media world is full of noise. It’s important to block it out and to focus on yourself. Saying it is better than doing it I know.. and I’m guilty of comparing myself to others as well. But once we learn to focus on our inner selves then that’s when the magic happens!

Instagram is great but it’s also full of people posting photos of a life they want to live, or want you to believe they live.
When starting out on your journey to a better you, think about what you want your body to look like, how you want to feel and where you want to go with it. Visualise yourself and not someone on Instagram that has a heavily edited photo or says they did some crazy workout that no normal person can do and challenges you to do it too.

As fitness professionals we are here to  help you be a stronger, fitter and more confident person and for you to be you. Block out that noise!

Starting to really understand how to use the foam roller and the trigger points for fasciitis. I have never really understood how to use it properly and I just rolled back and forth thinking that was it. Apparently,  foam rolling is an art and not too easy to do. However, I have time to get better at it and understand what I am doing!
As Scott Jurek would say "Injuries are our best teachers".
I can't wait to freely run again!🏃‍♀️😄 But in the meantime keep rolling rolling rolling....

Du brauchst:
🌱10 vegane Doppelkekse
🌱2 EL Kokosöl
▶️zerbröseln,vermischen und im eine Springform drücken 🌱300g Sojajoghurt 🌱2 Päckchen  Vanillepudding 🌱1 Päckchen Hafersahne
🌱50g Birkenzucker
▶️mixen, ubter Rühren aufkochen und ab damit auf den Keksboden
🌱5 Äpfel 🌱Saft einer halben Zitrone 🌱50g g Kokosblütenzucker
🌱Zimt 🌱Muskat 🌱150 ml Wasser 🌱3 EL Stärke ▶️Apfel schälen,würfeln und mit Zitronensaft vermengen
▶️restliche Zutaten vermischen und aufkochen, Apfel dazugeben und ca 10 Minuten einkochen lassen
▶️Masse auskühlen und eindicken lassen, anschließend auf die Käseschicht geben 🌱100g Haferflocken 🌱50g Kokosblütenzucker
🌱Zimt 🌱Muskat 🌱3-4 EL Kokosöl
🌱Prise Salz ▶️Hälfte der Haferflocken zu Mehl  mahlen und anschließend alle Zutaten zu Streusel  verarbeiten

Обычно,я советую начинать тренировки с ног и со статики, а не с бега, особенно «возрастным» атлетам или после большего перерыва. Не надо идти в зал, просто в исполнении, коротко по времени, мизерный шанс травмироваться😊, но БОЛЬШОЙ ЭФФЕКТ!если вы можете простоять на двух ногах 3-4 мин, попробуйте на одной. Если сможете 45-60 сек на одной, ваши ноги в хорошем состоянии💪👍. Спина прижата к стене, колени согнуты 90 градусов. This airport was built in 1927 and closed down in 2008 - I remember very well as I had one of the very last flight back home to Brussels on that very day it closed. This morning I could run on the runways (!) and did a 5.24 pace at 147 bpm. Off to the EUREF campus for the #smartgreenOS !🥗🥕🥑🥦🥒
