It's admirable to say "my weight did not define me", but you know what? It did. At least for me. Since I was about 8 years old, my identity has been wrapped around being "the fat girl". Sure, I'm a lot of other awesome things too, but that piece, in my mind, has always been a veil over everything else. I'm confident I can continue to grow and change and keep loving myself as time goes on. As I change physically, there's so much more work to do mentally. ❤️ Through this whole process, I'm reminded daily of how much I have to be grateful for. Bright Line Eating definitely being one of those things!

Sve zajedno umutite u blenderu (ja sam koristila nutribullet). Glatku smesu sipajte u korpice za mafine i pecite na 200 C oko 30 min.

I’m not one to normally sleep very good but last night I slept SO GOOD! I even had a toddler in bed with me! It was awesome! So excited to see more changes with BLE!
Day 4 Breakfast I did a little experimenting. Protein pancakes 
1 oz oats, 2 oz cottage cheese, 1 egg, 2 oz banana, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/2 nutmeg, 1/4tsp baking soda
Topped with 2 oz berries and 2 oz banana  Not too bad! I think I’ll stick with the other version though.

Tried my new air fryer last night to make sweet potatoes. Success! 25 minutes at 350° yielded perfectly done sweet potatoes (and they were huge!). Love it! Today's breakfast is a sweet potato bowl (finally got around to trying it, thanks to @ashdimercurio). 4 oz sweet potato, 1 oz Nutzo nut butter, 1 oz walnuts and 6 oz banana and grapes. Yum yum!

Hallöchen und willkommen im Donnerstag! Mir ist aufgefallen, dass ich der lieben Mona @foodstylist_happykids noch eine Geschichte schulde. Nämlich die von Bruno und Finchen dem Dreamteam of Eggs. Die beiden Zuckerschnuten waren stehts wie aus dem Ei gepellt und waren stolz auf ihr vornehmes Eiweiß. Bis Otto der Spaßvogel auf der Bildfläche erschien. Groß, stark, biologisch dynamisch aufgewachsen allerdings mit der cerebralen Kapazität eines Eiertoast. Er überedete sie an einem Wettbewerb teilzunehmen. Die Pfankuchenbäckerin des Ortes suchte noch Teilnehmer für ihre Apfelpfannkuchen Challenge. Ihr fehlten noch genau drei Teilnehmer... Bruno und Finchen waren skeptisch aber Otto meinte, dass Finchen bestimmt mega sexy in ihrem Ei(n)teiler aussehen würde. Bruno wurde bei den Worten sehr eifersüchtig und beschloss es diesem Angeber zu zeigen und sprang als erster ins Verderb.. in den Teigsee. Otto schnappte sich Finchen drückte ihr noch schnell einen Kuss auf die Wange und so sprangen sie hinterher. Le Voila die Pfannkuchen Bäckerin Anna präsentiert euch leckere Haferflocken Eierpfannkuchen mit Äpfeln und heißen Heidelbeeren. 😂😂😂 Ihr Romantiker hattet auf ein Happyend gehofft oder? I forgot to mention - my sweet baby sister sent me off with an entire breakfast of frozen banana/oat/PB muffins when I flew home, so that when I woke up to go to work the next morning, I wouldn’t have to worry about breakfast. •

Thank goodness she did, because my flight was delayed, I got home at 1 am, and had no fresh fruit, and was exhausted. •

I’m still a little jet lagged, but happy to be settled at home with my boys. I did have the best time in Wyoming though, it was just good for my soul to have some sister time, and snuggle on my sweet nephew and nieces 💕•

Something really weird just happened to me. This is long, but hey, this is MY journal. I have never (and I mean NEVER) enjoyed running. In fact, I have taken a pretty public stance for loathing the thing. I have run a few miserable 5K (and one absolutely wretched 10K) races before I was married and easily peer-pressured. I would run the occasional jog just to feel like I was trying to stay in shape. Fast forward to my first pregnancy. I have SPD when I’m pregnant (symphasis pubis dysfunction—sexy, right?). It basically means my body produces too much relaxin (the hormone responsible for loosening your ligaments around your pelvis in the 3rd trimester to prepare your body for giving birth). Too much means that my pelvis is in a constant state of dislocation—feeling like fire pain every time I walk, roll over in bed, or use any of my pelvic floor muscles. It was pretty terrible, and I have a pretty miserable birth story due to those issues. I went to physical therapy after my daughter was born, and it took a long time for me to not feel pain while walking. I was better prepared for baby number 2, and knew how to make labor and delivery go more smoothly. It was a million times better, and I did my own physical therapy after my son was born. I was just about feeling back to normal when baby number 3 surprised us. Pregnancy went better, but she also surprised us with a prolapsed cord and emergency C-section that I was knocked out for. This daughter’s recovery has been a beast. I made it about 2/3 of the way through my physical therapy program and then tapered off for a nice, long eating binge that got me to my heaviest weight ever. Enter bright line eating. Allllllll of that back story is pretty much so you know just how much I hate running and have struggled with physical activity period since starting to have my babies. That’s why it blows my mind that tonight I wanted to go for a run! Whaaaat??? Even my husband stared at me blankly when I told him. This is epic. I have felt a small tug to get active again lately, but a run? I can only attribute it to eating cleanly and my body craving what it needs.... to be continued in comments

Got my money's worth at the Jason's Deli salad bar today. Romaine, mixed greens, spinach. Carrots, cucumber, zucchini, beets, roasted peppers, broccoli florets, red onion. They had these huge Italian marinated white beans, which were in an oil vinaigrette.  I counted them and sunflower seeds as protein/fat and added balsamic vinegar on top. I have 22 days till Vegas and 25lb to go. Not saying I’m going to loose a lb a day.... but that 22 days is better than no days and a lot can happen in 22 days... if I work hard and don’t make excuses. My mom had been doing brightline eating with me (and way more consistently than me) and she’s down 83lb since January. Serious round of applause for her!!! It’s amazing. She’s now 4lb more than me and consistently loosing something, even if it is half a lb. It kinda woke me up a bit, I’ve been hovering between 175-177 the past two months, blaming it on a plateau, working out, that I’m getting older..... but the thing is, I’ve maintained this weight because I stopped giving it 100% and my mom... she’s continued giving it 100% and her results are there to show for it. She hasn’t let age, working out (and not loosing because she’s put on muscle) or a plateau be an excuse to cover up that the reason is because she’s just not giving it her all. I was so inspired and encouraged seeing her the other day... so here’s to the next 22 days... of perfection. Today, has been perfect and I’ll take it one day at a time cause looking at it as one day at a time is way easier than 22. I know I can do it today. And when tomorrow comes I can do it then too!
