Oh lighting you are my best friend and worst enemy. The first 2 were take mid way through, the send toward the end of my work out. But I look worse in the first?! Anyway, sorry for the radio silence, been doing a new job, and that has been keeping me occupied and doing weekly PT sessions.
I am writing this now as I may not be able to move my arms tomorrow 😂
Today I did a little cardio, and a little leg work as yesterday was back and core and yes I am feeling it.
Really glad I started with PT sessions again and while I can't say after week 3 that I am seeing a difference, my body is reminding me of muscle groups that have been dormant for a long while 😂🤦😂
Self care is NOT once a week, month or year. Self care is needed DAILY. 💙
For me that looks like: •At home workouts or a run. •A daily superfoods shake.
•Writing down things I’m grateful for.
•Listening to personal development podcast while I drive. •Water, drinking lots of water. 💦

Oats: Yes, oats are loaded with carbs, but the release of those sugars is slowed by fiber, and because oats also have 10 grams of protein per half-cup serving, they deliver steady, ab-muscle-friendly energy. And that fiber is soluble, which lowers the risk of heart disease.

Baked Dijon Salmon
Recipe Yields 1 Serving
▪️4 Oz, Salmon Fillet
▪️1/2 Tbsp, Light Butter, melted ▪️1 tsp, Dijon Mustard
▪️1/2 tsp Honey ▪️8 gram, Italian Style Breadcrumbs
▪️8 grams, Pecan Chips
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400 degrees
2️⃣ Line a small round pan with foil and spray with nonstick spray. Place salmon, skin side down in the pan and set aside.
3️⃣ In a small bowl mix together butter, mustard and honey. Pour sauce on top of the salmon.
4️⃣ In another small bowl mix together breadcrumbs and pecan chips. Sprinkle mixture on top of salmon with sauce.
5️⃣ Bake in oven 15 - 20 Minutes or until easily flakes with a fork.

Matter of fact, it’s pretty hard for many of us to find a balance in our lives, especially when we start looking at the lives of others. Truth is, no one is always completely balanced. We only see what people what us to see: that they have it all together, that they have mastered this whole balance concept. People who continue to focus on mastering balance will always stay stuck. They may feel like they’re mastering it, until life throws something new or another curveball. When we push ourselves a little further, accept that everyone is a little off-balanced, we can start accomplishing so much more.
