Total accident... I added too much water to my @awesomesupps protein flapjacks and I've made an oat pie?! Or maybe an oat cake?!
Either way... Freaking delicious.
-50g @awesomesupps vegan salted caramel chocolate protein
-2tbsp smooth peanut butter
-as much water needed to make it stick together in a big ball, then a splash more.
Bake for 20mins on 190degrees.
Breakfast this morning was this coconut yogurt bowl topped with half of a banana, blueberries, almond butter, chia seeds + @manitobaharvest hemp seeds 👌
I showed how easy it is to make this 2 ingredient cocoyo by @minimalistbaker on my stories + it's now saved on my highlights. I let it ferment longer than I normally do so it was a bit tangier than I like so I ended up adding a bit of honey to it after this pic was taken ✌
It feels good to be back on track. My choices for snacks + supper yesterday were less than stellar + I'm feeling it today. Food definitely still has power over me because I still crave foods that I know don't make me feel good + have a hard time resisting them sometimes. Like the cheese bread I had yesterday. I know it always hurts my stomach but still I love it! So strange + so frustrating. 🤨
All this to say, I'm still a work in progress + I hope I don't give off the impression that I don't struggle or that I know everything. That is definitely not the case. I HAVE been able to stick to clean eating a lot longer than I have in past years + I definitely owe that all to you guys + your support! It’s all about that chia seed pudding! Kind of closed my eyes and hoped for the best on this recipe.. Filled small mason jar 3/4 of the way full with unsweetened coconut milk.. Added a two tablespoons of chia seeds.
Little bit of honey/maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract to your desired preference!
Put lid on jar and shake well. Let sit in fridge over night. Then topped with bananas and coconut flakes!
