It started out rough. My diet has definitely had an impact on my energy levels. 😴☹️😴 I'm still more tired and can get pretty hangry. Appreciation to my family, especially my parents for helping me cook food, buy groceries, and accept my apologies after I'm grumpy. 👫❤️ 🥦🌱🥒🥝🍏🍃🍐🍍🍇🌿🍈🍌🍄 First time seeing a dietician which was empowering, educating, and validating. One of the many excellent things she said is I can have coffee again. #phew ☕🍵😋 I'm also taking her advice and started taking probiotics and Omega-3 oil. There was a lot of good talk about the foods I'm eating and my diet plan. Tuesday, I started adding dead sea salt to my nightly bath mix 🛀 & 🥁🥁🥁🥁 I feel A BIT BETTER. I haven't been able to say that for almost 5 months! My hands feel and look better and my skin feels more moisturized for longer ♥️👐🤞👐🤞❤️. Any morning not waking up in pain and/or feeling dry is a better morning #thismorning . I'm still working on stress management. I'm always walking Tucker around my hood and doing these ten simple yoga stretches a few days a week, just in my bedroom 🤷♀️. But, I have to work a bit this weekend and I'm really excited to have started volunteering in a local municipal election campaign. #threejobsnowfivevolunteergigs .
Friday, I treated myself to some new shoes from Mark's Work Warehouse and a lot of thrift store shopping 🛍️#stk#Windsor 💃 My shoes are all closed toed, mostly slip ons since the spots on my feet continue to make certain shoes too painful to wear. I bought comfy, breathable clothes, that most importantly I love.
When I reflect on all the changes I've made and how I slowly shifted to choosing more holistic and natural alternatives, it's a lot 🤯. I'm super weird and it's cool, I love it. 🤓😍😎🤓
There's still a long way to healed, but after a lot of just hoping all the work will pay off, I finally feel and now see that I'm on a right way 🤗😍🌞✌️🤗.

Breakfast this morning. The eggs were def missing hot sauce. I will need to find a #nightshadefree alternative. I’m thinking arugula would add a nice bite. To drink I had a @foursigmatic mushroom coffee.

This is what a professional trained health supportive chef eats for breakfast. Purple sweet potato, arugula, steamed spinach, fermented veggies, avocado and a sprinkle of dulse seaweed flakes. No flour, no grains, no sugar (and right now no eggs till my thyroid is in check). This tastes delicious, makes me feel good, fills me up and honestly fuels my day. For 2 pers;
1 fresh salmon
1 pack smoked salmon
Pepper & salt
Extra virgin Olive oil
Chop everything to small pieces.
Add the lime juice and spices

I present "clean out the fridge in preparation for vacation stir fry." Seriously, somehow we had a bunch of unused produce and a few halves like a half bag of shredded carrots, half an onion, half a bunch of cilantro, etc. So, I legit through it all into a wok with avocado oil until I liked the texture (very helpful, I know). Then I added chicken from my freezer, cauliflower rice, and a quick sauce.
All AIP, and a fabulous way to clean out my fridge (and have leftovers for packing day tomorrow).
So I’ve decided to do it. I’m going to give up #nightshades for a few weeks to see if it helps with the aches & pains. On the menu: pizza! The crust & #nightshadefree sauce are from @grazedandenthused ‘s book “The Healing Kitchen”. I topped it with zoodles, bacon, basil, nutritional yeast, & chicken livers!
Quick and easy dinner! 🍈🍈🍈 @bilinskisausage Cilantro Lime Chicken sausages sautéed in a cast iron skillet...our whole family loves these! They are not too spicy for my kids (though we are from Louisiana 😉). Found at @wholefoods.
I added the juice of 1/2 of a lime and the other 1/2 thin sliced, dried cilantro (through fresh would be better!), and @earthbalance soy free to some white jasmine rice for carbs. We also quickly steamed some organic broccoli and green beans...my kids like them perfectly tender. 🥦
Cilantro is a good source of dietary fiber, vitamins A, C, E, K, calcium, iron, potassium, and magnesium. A ¼ cup of fresh cilantro provides 270 IU of Vitamin A, and 16% of the daily value recommended of vitamin K.
