🍒 When people say to pick out what you’re grateful for in life, it can sometimes seem as if they’re saying we have to ignore all the things we could improve in life, and instead focus on what we like and treasure in our daily lives
💜 And, although I agree that we should aim to focus on the positives, practising gratitude in no way has to exclude self improvement and progression. It is, instead, an essential part of creating your dream life - because without knowing what aspects of your life you’re happy with and want to replicate, how can you start improving your quality of life?!
✨ If course there are things I’m not happy with right now. There are always ways in which I - and all of you - can improve, but gratitude is essential regardless, and without it it’s difficult to move forward.
🙌 Find what you love. Be grateful for it. Notice the good things. Love the little things. And don’t be scared to pick out what you like as well as what you can change!
😊 So, I will start...
Today I am grateful for all of you lovely people who are reading this post right now. I’m grateful for the sun. For a body that functions. For this drop dead gorgeous nicecream I ate this morning. For a loving family. For second chances - and so so so much more.

Hi! The summer holiday continues, so I'm afraid this is going to be a one-off post for the time being. Thanks for following me if you have recently, and welcome 😊🖐 Its all about combining healthy eating with traditional cooking techniques, with a good helping of inspiration to use up leftover food, and generally feelung inspired to get in your kitchen and be creative!
A few weeks ago a posted a yummy recipe for blackberry baked porridge, and I asked what your favourite alternative-to-crumble recipes for blackberries are. We'll here is another one for you: blackberry banana nice-cream! 😋 It's super delicious and the banana and blackberry is such a fantastic combo 👌 Recipe 👇
I chopped frozen banana, defrosted for 10 mins.
2 handfuls frozen blackberries plus about 5 for decoration
Dollop of almond butter
Tbsp buckwheat groats
Tbsp puffed quinoa
Put a small frying pan on the hob on a medium-high heat and add the buckwheat and puffed quinoa. Toast until golden.
Whilst the buckwheat and quinoa is toasting, place the banana, blackberries and honey in a food processor and blitz until it has firmed an ice-cream consistency.
Serve into a bowl, dollop on the almond butter, place the extra blackberries, and scatter on the toasted buckwheat and puffed quinoa.
Iced Vanilla Rosemary Latte by @thealmondeater ⬇️
for the syrup:
-1/2 cup cane sugar
-1/2 cup water -1 rosemary sprig
-1 vanilla bean -1/2 tsp vanilla extract
For the drink
-1-2 tbsp vanilla rosemary syrup
-Ice -1 cup milk of choice
-1-2 shots of espresso
1.To make the syrup: add sugar, water, rosemary, and vanilla extract to a saucepan. Scrape the seeds out of the vanilla bean and place them in the pan, and then place the whole bean in the pan too. Bring mix to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2.Then, pour syrup through a fine mesh strainer and into a glass container. Allow syrup to cool before using.
3.For the drink: add syrup the bottom of your glass then fill the glass with ice. Pour milk over top, then add the espresso. Stir everything together, the add more syrup and/or sugar to taste.

Wild blackberry nicecream 😍
Like I already told you I was in the woods yesterday.
I found lots of ripe juicy blackberries, so I made this absolutely awesome #nicecream today 😋
I used 2 frozen bananas + 1 cup frozen blackberries + 1/2 cup soy yoghurt.
Topped with a few fresh blackberries + 2 tbsp quinoa pops+ 1 tbsp high protein muesli + 1 tbsp cocoa nibs + 3 cocoa covered dates 😁
THAT is how I'd like to start my day everyday!
👉 450 kcal, 65g carbs, 13g protein, 11g fat

Püré is odaszimatolt, de a banánfagyi nem az ő világa... De ha te ember vagy, gyors, egyszerű fagyira vágysz, amire biztosan senki nem allergiás a családból, tiszta gyümölcs, nulla zsír, filléres költség és akár egy kánikulai nap reggelijeként is felszolgálható, akkor olvasd tovább a posztot.
A banánfagyi fagyasztott banán, amit egy nagy teljesítményű késes aprítóval krémessé gyalulsz. És bármilyen más gyümölccsel, kakaóporral, fahéjjal ízesíthetsz, meg turbózhatod tovább magokkal, aszalt gyümölccsel, bármi kedvenccel.

For breakfast I made myself a sweet peach nicecream and let me tell you - it was good! 😏🍑
Yesterday was a great day! I had great company while staying at the city festival in Dresden. Lots of sweat, great conversations, yummy food and movement (24k steps, my legs are hurting right now, haha). In the end we also discovered a VR stall and immediately we went there and had some fun. 🎮
We love a 'just chuck it all together and vola! Fancy!' kind of recipe. Easy chia puddings upped a notch with our Superlatte's (Gypsy Rose & Blue Dream) add flavour & colour to your coconut yogurt topping! To get the pastel effect that makes them 'oh so trendy' freeze your berries overnight for insta worth breakfast or late night treat 😏

I made this chocolate nicecream a few weeks ago and have no idea why I hadn't posted it yet🤷 Now the recipe has become a mystery, because I didn't write it up🤦Well now we just have to wait I'll get my new food processor that I can create a new recipe. Yes, I broke my old one...it wasn't meant to resist frozen things (or then I just made too much nicecream😂)
🍍 Sugestão Fresca para o Dia de Hoje: Gelado de Ananás e Manga || *Pineapple mango nicecream 🍍

● 400 g ananás congelado
● 150 g manga congelada ● 1/2 cc de cúrcuma
● 1 cc de extrato de baunilha
Colocar todos os ingredientes num processador e triturar até que fique cremoso.
● 400 g frozen pineapple
● 150 g frozen mango
● about 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
● 1 tsp vanilla extract .
Add everything into a high speed blender/ food processor and blend until smooth.
