And just like that, it’s over! 😭 what an amazing, unforgettable trip! The sights, the cold and the long drives (minus the travel sickness 🤢) and the best company I could imagine ❤️ only a short 6.5 weeks until my next adventure to Europe 🌏 already planning the next trip with @jjoshoreilly 💚 Bye New Zealand, thanks for the mem’s ✨
Two of my favourite new pieces calling for me to create this past week, selling here for $20 each. -
The dalmation stone has a grounding energy, helping quit smoking and provide determination to succeed in anything. The clear quartz piece aids in concentration and memory, pertaining wealth, and prosperity. ✨
The Karangahake Gorge is located between Waihi and Paeroa. There is a large car park in the middle of the gorge that is the starting point for a variety of great walking and biking trails. One of the most popular walks is the Windows Walk which is a 2.5km loop that exposes you to the old gold mining tunnels and rail tracks. A little bit of climbing but kids just love it! Be sure to take a torch just in case you decide to enter one of the tunnels for some exploring and keep an eye out overhead for cave weta. A great way to finish off your visit here is by stopping in across the road at the Talisman Cafe for a drink and bite to eat. Stopping in the Karangahake Gorge is a must do if you are passing through.
Sleepy-eyed snean wearing adventurer ✨
If anyone knows of any really cute but really comfortable walking shoes to walk around Europe in, i would be eternally grateful so that I don’t have to continue to wear sneans everywhere.
Early morning, moody beach scenes with a huge cup of coffee and cuddled up in a puffer are my favourite. Winter is still a great time for exploring!
The East Cape Lighthouse can be found 22km from Te Araroa on the East Coast of the North Island. The coastal unsealed road that takes you there leads to the most Easterly point on mainland NZ. The drive itself is worth it as you follow the coast with stunning views! Look out for waterfalls and wild horses along the way. The walk up to the lighthouse includes about 700 steps but the views are worth it! A great spot to watch the sun come up as it is close to the first place in the world to welcome each new day.
We never regret getting outdoors, there's always a new experience to be had. Dedicated the weekend to #surfing but when opportunities like this arise you just gotta shoot 📸
What are some of your best tips for #astrophotography ?
Our entry level Canon 600d is getting upgraded soon and settings were maxed out to take this pic.

I love photographing birds, but capturing their character is even better. The kereru, or wood pigeon, is a beautiful bird - who will get drunk on fermenting berries until he falls out of his tree. I think we all know someone like that!
