On the theme of Tetbury and NEW VENUES. I thought it was worth me mentioning @calcot_manor a stunning Spa hotel that has new event space, The Barn. From the pictures I’ve seen it’s one to head to soon! The Spa is amazing, I know that but loving the look of their new outdoor spaces! Perfect in this weather!

Nasco il 20 dicembre del 1986 in un piccolo paesino situato sulla costa jonica siciliana, distante circa 30km da Taormina (ME) centro turistico internazionale, conosciuto per il suo paesaggio naturale, le bellezze marine e i suoi monumenti storici. Attratta dall’arte, dal design, dall’informatica e, soprattutto, dalle macchine fotografiche, durante un workshop conosco Andrea Bono (anche lui fotografo), dove di lì a breve, diventerà il mio compagno decidendo in seguito, di trasferirmi in Calabria per continuare a scattare al suo fianco.
Ispirata ad una famosa frase del filosofo cinese Confucio “scegli un lavoro che ami, e non dovrai lavorare neppure un giorno in vita tua”, dopo varie esperienze ed un attenta e accurata ricerca io e il mio compagno decidiamo di creare LUCIA ALTADONNA EVENTS & WEDDINGS PHOTOGRAPHER e di trasformare la nostra passione, ed il nostro sogno in professione.
Chicken laksa with egg and charred aubergine from our dinner @sambalshiok last night. All this for a base cost of £10.50 before the extras. Bargain. Paired with a lovely Walter Reisling from @bittenwritten’s wine list here. Place was heaving - unsurprisingly given @gilescoren’s lovely review of it that morning in the Times. Lived fully up to expectations, not least all the other non-laksa dishes. More on our stories and we’ll have a Test Drive up soon.
