George looking so relaxed after a tummy, leg and foot massage. Tummy massage can be so good for the relief of wind or constipation. We always massage in a clockwise direction - the same way as the digestive system moves from the stomach to the intestines and out of the body. #relaxationtime#babymassagecourse
Who is guilty of staying in bed an extra 5,10 or 20 minutes after the alarm?⠀
Studies have shown that we’re only capable of making so many “good decisions” a day.⠀
That’s why you see highly successful people like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates wearing the same outfit every day.⠀
They are known for buying 20 pairs of the same outfits.⠀
This is so they have to make 1 less decision at the start of the day.⠀
Studies have shown that those extra few minutes in be snoozing don’t actually help you out, but instead can make you feel worse.⠀
If the first decision you make in the morning is to stay in bed. Your setting yourself up for a bad day.⠀
GET UP as soon as your alarm goes off and see how much better things can be!⠀
This wee dude turned one at the weekend - he's been doing baby yoga with me since he was 12 weeks old.
In the 9 months, we have been through so many developmental stages, currently, he is happy to explore away from Mummy, on his terms... We fit in more Mummy yoga then, until he comes to investigate, and crawl through some poses... Yoga with babies is all about adapting, accommodating, taking our chances - for both mummy and baby yoga time!
Happy birthday yoga dude, its been an honour watching you grow up!
When someone walks into my clinic room I stop time.⠀
Once the door closes behind them all that is 'out there' remains 'out there'. For in here becomes a sacred, safe space. Time to pause and reflect. Time to breathe...⠀
The lights are dimmed, the blinds are closed. We could be anywhere.⠀
I stop time.⠀
Together we then look at the problem.⠀
We look from every angle. As us, as someone else. As a person not angered, fearful or upset but able to see the truth for what it is. And for a time, ask for no more than that.⠀
And I listen.⠀
Because as humans we forget so often. We listen to that small voice, so often drowned out.⠀
And they listen, to themselves, to new ideas... to new ways of understanding things.⠀
And of course this can be anything, from a fear of birth, to trauma, to anxiety, to depression, to habits and addictions and the need to grow and change.⠀
So today... Offer this to yourself as a gift. In your own time and space.⠀
Whether you are a parent, or a parent to be. Lonely or surrounded by friends. Busy, or quiet.⠀
Just pause and reflect on the year that is passing and the new year yet to come.⠀
Playing catch up again!
We have so many babywearing photos outside, since it’s the only way I can get out of the house as a wheelchair user with a baby. But there was only one photo I wanted to use today - our first solo trip out in our @closeparent Caboo when Elise was 5 weeks old.
[Image description: A selfie of Tania, a woman with tied back brown hair. She has glasses with dark green lenses on and is wearing Elise, a 5 week old baby in a grey wrap. Around the image and slightly off centre is a black border. To the left of the image are the words ‘10th Dec: Outside.’ Below the image is ‘#BabywearingAdventChallenge ’.]

What a gorgeous day today for a walk in the woods .
We started the day with sensory class where the boys played with bubbles and were penguins and reindeer (swipe to see). After that the 3 of us headed straight to the woods for a nice walk where we found a penguin and snowman (actually we found several of each) and a little fairy house.
Now it's home to chill out and have a quite afternoon before we head into London tomorrow for my work Christmas lunch .
Mothers to be are not left out!
Walk into our studio and let us capture beautiful images of you and your pretty baby bump.
These are images you would keep for a lifetime.
We would love to be a part of it.
We are just a phone call or DM away.
Is he a good sleeper?
How old is he?
This is the conversation I have had repeatedly in my time since becoming a mum. From my son was less than 3 months, people have asked me if he sleeps. I've been told to sleep train, not respond to him, it'll only take 3 days, and that "I know what I need to do." But, I didn't do it. It wasn't right for me. Does that make it my fault that he doesn't sleep from 7-7? Possibly. Possibly not. He's his own person. What I do know is that I have had to find ways to navigate this past two years in a way that has felt right.
I am sharing this with you in my Surviving Sleep Deprivation E-Book. I'm bringing together my stories, with the science I used to make my decisions and questions I used to guide myself through it. The book includes 16 additional links to research, templates and resources. Also, it has been designed to be read on your phone #mumwin .
This book is for you if: - You don't want to read any more about what you 'should' do to make your child sleep. - You want to hear the genuine realities of life with a child who struggles to sleep. - You want to understand some of the evidence-based strategies I have used to support myself during this time. - You want to know you are not alone in this journey. - You want reassurance that it's all going to be ok.
Usually $14.95, you can get it now for 30% off by using the code 'CHRISTMAS' at link in bio for shop.
I am so excited to share this with you.

Meet “Bam” from @kippins_ - my toddler’s very well loved lovey. He loves to chew on Bam’s ears when going to sleep....🤔 Bam has been in our family since my first son was born and he is now 2.5 years!
Introducing a lovey can be a simple way to help your baby along the road to a restful night’s sleep. It’s an object that is emotionally comforting. You can introduce it between 4 and 6 months as this gives your bubba lots of time to become attached to their lovey.
When introducing a lovey - Make the lovey smell like Mum!! Scent is a powerful soother. Wear the lovey under your top for a few nights so that your scent is transferred over.
To make your bubba’s lovey a comfort object and differentiate it from a toy, it’s important to reserve the lovey for sleep and/or feeding time (milk). It will help them to fall asleep when they are in the pram, car or when you are traveling and want your baby to sleep somewhere different.
It’s very important that you buy a couple (I bought 3!) Swap them over regularly so your baby can’t tell the difference. Since babies are sensitive to changes in texture and smell, there’s less chance of a protest if all loveys have been equally adored.
It may take a while for your baby to fall in love and that’s fine! Just pop it in the cot next to them and one day they may surprise you and give it a cuddle!
It’s also important to note some babies will not bond with their lovey at all and that’s okay!
Sally, you rock!💪 41 kgs down and she says: " Today I am making no excuses.Today I am a Healthy Mummy and I LOVE life and the positive impact it has on my health and family!” We love seeing our mums thrive! Join us now via the link in our bio x
LET’S TALK ABOUT C R O P S ❤️ Our Max + Mee mums love our crops. We get feedback saying that our mums love the option to feed discreetly if they choose. The crop sits just above the breast while feeding. Definitely a plus for the holidays especially if you are a feeding mum lucky enough to be boarding a plane! #breastfeedingclothes
So today we are officially 1 year old. This time last year we had our launch day in Eccleston Village Hall. Can’t believe it and what a year it’s been. People say the 1st year in business is the hardest and getting a business off the ground really has been but goodness me have I given it my all over the past year! I have poured my heart and soul, sweat and tears (literally) into making my first year a success and boy am I proud of everything I have achieved so far in this year.
From my little mat leave dream, we have grown into a team from company director to class leader and expanded across 5 areas. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me and helped me along the way to make this year possible.
To celebrate we are having a party on the 7/01/19 at 11:00-1:00 in Eccleston Village Hall. Everyone is welcome whether you previously attended, currently attend or want to attend classes it will be lovely to see you all there in the New Year. The day will be drop in with refreshments and sweet treats along with our huge exploratory play area. Hope you can all make it. Thank you for your continued support 💜💙 xx
