I can never get tired of these views. We did the Fowler Trail, a nice easy hike with beautiful views. There was quite a few houses for sale on the way up, a girl can dream right!
Hope you all have a great end to your weekend before the week ahead!
Last night's intense game of basketball.
What are you up to this Saturday? We're relaxing this morning. In an attempt to get Callisto back on track we got him up "early" this morning. And maybe trying out a new trail this afternoon or a good old favorite. Endless options here.
Happy Saturday 🖤
I've had a lot of worries consuming me lately. I've always been this way. Meditation has helped and so has understanding no matter how hard I try to plan or think something will play out I won't know till the time is here. I've been having to remind myself daily of this. And it's been taking my time away from the present moment. So here's a reminder for those thinking ahead or worrying over something. Stay present 🖤

Before Callisto. There was 2 + Oswald.
I was actually pregnant with Callisto here!
We had a productive morning of going to the library and getting some groceries. How's your Monday going? ---- It's prime day, have you found anything good? Pampers has a deal going on for their new simply pure line. I'm debating on these wipes or the water wipes? Right now we use the sensitive ones. They just have so much crap in them, I'm debating on just making my own.
Me, my mom, and Callisto went to Estes Park today. Of all the times I been there we finally went to the Stanley Hotel! We didn't tour, because ain't nobody got the money for that. I hope to do a night tour one day. But we did get to walk around and check it out. All this time I thought it was one giant hotel... it's not. But it's still really cool and old. You can't go up to the rooms unless you are actually staying there but it's still neat to check out.
Where you live is there anything "spooky" to check out? And if you're in Colorado, have you ever done a tour of the hotel and what's your favorite thing to do in Estes?
26 weeks today! 98 days to go!!
My mood has more ups and downs than I could have ever imagined. Not sure if today was just extra because it's getting real, she will be here in a few months! Or what the deal was. But, it was still a good day. I noticed I'm having a lot of worries again and I'm constantly reminding myself I cannot plan these things, and it will all work out.
I am exactly where I need to be.
It was hot, but I finally got Callisto out this morning. He rode his bike and than walked around, we attempted the park but everything was too hot to play on. Lately he just wants to hang out at home and play with his toys or read, so it was nice to be out. He's been off since we got back from LA, I wonder if it was to much on the go for him.
Anyways, any plans for the weekend?
It's been a while since I posted a quote, but I was listening to a talk on the @insight app from Sadhguru. He said, "everything that happens to us in our lives is entirely our making."
Those words stuck with me.
We have more control over our lives than we think, and whether you believe in karma or not, putting positive energy out there isn't such a bad idea.
The one and only picture of us I got yesterday. At home, chilling, eating, and watching Pets. He got up at noon took a 5 minute nap at 230 and has been fighting his sleep since. We went to the pool today to cool off from our a.c not working and he's still on the go! It's a matter of time at this point!
How was your weekend?
I've been busy this week replacing my parents deck. Ripped up the old wood decking and replaced it with #trexdecks to give this deck a fresh new look. Changed the layout a little bit to open up the top deck deck for the growing family! Big shoutout to @steve_kroeker for all the help framing and drinking beer. Still need to instal the facia boards and a few railings but it's almost there! #newisalwaysbetter#workhardplayhard#vacationlife
