Hugh started Mighty Quinn’s as a stall at @smorgasburg and now has 9 restaurants in the NYC metro area and 5 international locations. I’m back from the east coast! 🏙 My NYC adventures are in my story highlights, but I didn’t post here during the trip so I could make the most of my time there exploring and catching up with friends.
On my first day back in the city, I got my ramen fix at @tonchinnewyork. I am the vegan ramen queen after all. 👸🏻 The vegan miso ginger ramen with soy crumbles and veggies sure is tasty. 🍜 I opted for the mini ramen because I had planned to hit up several places that day, but even the mini bowl was plenty filling.

The tasting menu at Marc Forgione’s was super fun. Also super delicious....but a really eclectic mix of surprising and not overly seriously/overplayed combinations. Top 2 bites were the Kona Kampachi + the sechuan button and the Chili lobster with Texas toast (their spin on chili crab)

🇻🇳 LITTLE SAIGON PEARL 🇻🇳 no filter, this bún bò Huế is actually that vibrant. I'm usually not a big fan of seafood soups but this crab, shrimp, and ham combo made me a convert. So easy to miss this storefront if you're walking along 86th, but turn down Bay 35th - you won't regret it 😜

Underrated silician slice from Pizza Wagon. This is the go to pizzeria in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and a local favorite that has been serving the community for over 50 years. Their pizza is simple and delicious, they don't try to put a rosey spin on their slices. You can never go wrong with the classics! @pizzawagon86
