Fun filled day of walking the Garden District learning about the history and architecture followed by a fun and delicious cooking class featuring classic New Orleans dishes!!
Pictures in order:
1. Toby’s Corner: the oldest house in the garden district
2. The Opera Guild House: a gift from a wealthy doctor and his wife that was donated to the Opera Guild when they passed (fun fact: NCIS New Orleans was shooting there today and the episode will air October 9th)
3. Beautiful house owned by a wealthy man who got his start inventing the burlap sac, lost all his wealth, regained it by selling chicory coffee, and lost it all again 😢
4. Lafayette Cemetary No. 1
5. House where Mark Twain would stay when visiting New Orleans
6. Gumbo (top), Jambalya (bottom), Pralines (right): made during the cooking class, ALL delicious!!!!
Allll the vintage feels😍 After hearing so much about Traverse City, it’s been so great to finally be here! #WallytheVWagen 🚌 & I have really enjoyed our time in TC and it’s always an adventure seeing the faithfulness of God in new places💛 #TheAmazingGraceTour
Couldn’t post about #Ireland without a flashback to my first #irishcoffee ☕️ | I think this was on one of our tour stops in #cork | My only regret is I wish I had more time to explore all the small towns on our tours | what do you prefer , bus tours or rent a car?
My first big #international trip across the pond started in Ireland 🇮🇪 | My girlfriends and I started in out in Dublin and crossed over to the UK with a ferry ⚓️🚢 | I’ve never stopped traveling since | Keep following for my updates on all my #travel posts 🌻 | I think everyone should have a gf trip! Have you had one yet ?!
The most common question I am getting is, “What was my favorite part from my road trip?” I would have to say Taos, New Mexico. Probably because it wasn’t humid, I was still in the Rocky Mountains, and I stayed at this kick ass Airbnb. It was an experience guys. The shower head was over the sink, so I showered over the sink and toilet. 😂 It was also a quick shower due to the limited hot water. It made me grateful for my shower at home. It was also a full moon and there was a window over my head so I was able to check out the night sky. Taos is a small town but it seemed like the community is friendly and enjoyed themselves especially on Thursdays. They have free live music every Thursday night where everyone gathers around to watch, eat, and dance. It was a sight to see. Lastly, the Mexican food was good. 💁🏼♀️
Feels good to be almost home but life is meant to be experienced and traveling is one of those opportunities which brings incredible experiences that are humbling and broaden my perspective.
I thrive on routine and having a focused agenda but for a sort period of time the breakdown of routine through those experiences brings a heighten excitement to continue to grow and ignite change.
Well good grief...what happened there??? I was plunged into a white thing and then warm wet stuff was poured all over me 💧💧
Not totally unpleasant...do I still look cute??

I'm compelled to mention this before it starts to feel too long ago...
I have always been/still am terrified to fly.
On my trip to Japan a few weeks ago, I managed to take a total 4 flights, including a layover in Murica in each direction... by myself.
This was such a scary, overwhelming concept in my journey to meet @ambermoksha ... one that I chose to dive into without a second thought, and I am so glad I did.
On my fourth and final flight back from LA to Toronto, I ended up in a window seat. My other 3 flights I specifically picked aisle seats, hating the thought of seeing what was happening.
I ended up staring out the window during takeoff. I got my usual plane jitters. Took slow deep breaths to stay calm. But I could NOT stop watching the clouds... and the sky... and the line where the sky becomes space...
We flew forward through time zones and I got to watch the sky as we travelled from day into night. I'm so happy to have felt somewhat fearless in that time and taken in the experience...
If you want your life to look different, less stress, more time, bigger savings account, more travel, a boss not controlling your worth and time, then you will have to do something different. If nothing changes then nothing changes. We are locking arms right now with people who are improving their circumstances.
INLINGUA VANCOUVER TESTIMONIAL 👨🎓 by @pedroemiliotr
“When I reached an advanced level in English I thought there was not much I could learn in an English class. I was wrong. Teachers like Jacob show you how you can still enjoy a class and take your English to another level with many resources such as literature, discussions and authentic materials.”
A while back I tryed something new. I was scared to because it had to do with fire arms. I knew that they werent bad or good, but still fear the unknown. I decided to give it a shot and it was a weird experience. I was happy tho because it was something new I hadn't tryed and it felt good to have that experience. Insert inspirational paragraph here lol Im glad I step out of my comfort zone. .

Last Saturday we performed at a beautiful Gala for a 30 Retirement from the Army and a 30 year wedding anniversary. This number was complementary to the opening number 'A Soldier's Heart' by R. Kelly. I am extremely proud of @susie_k_ for choroegraphing this piece for the performance and brings a few tears in the moment. She worked extremely hard on some contemporary/ballet concepts and though she would tell you that she is not technically trained(which is true) she embodied the music, the feel, and story within the performance. I am very happy that I encouraged her to share this piece with her open classes even though she was concerned there wasn't much Hip Hop movement. I love seeing dancers enjoy movement while telling a story with their bodies and this piece did exactly that. Each person had their own interpretation of the movement. Thank you for sharing Susie K. #dance#feel#move#express#storytelling#fusion#ofstyles#usewhatyoufeel#itbuilds#newexperiences#Rkelly#whenawomanloves#notquitehiphop#butstilleffective#sharing#noboundaries
Repost from @massageolegspb на тему синяков после массажа читайте у Олега на странице, а я же делюсь с вами своим #newexperiences ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Вчера было развеяно два мифа:
🚹Первый, что массаж это расслабление и всегда кайффффф;

Day 2 at school - the bold yin comes to collect her big bro with us and casually introduces herself to the teacher🙈 But guess why my big brave boy said "it wasn't SUCH a good day today".... a blimmin wasp got him in the playground. My baby! Day 2 at school 😱 He's so brave God love him. He didnt cry, just went and found a teacher whose name he didn't know, and they sorted him out. But his voice did go a bit funny apparently. He never cried though! 😍 Damn you wasp. Damn all the wasps!!
